Saguaro Park on 59th Ave just north of Olive has wonderful ramadas and huge bar-b-que pits. I'm not sure how you reserve it. It is a very nice space.
I need a park to hold my son's 4th birthday party at. We need ramadas, playground, a field, and restrooms at a reasonable price(free would be best). I would prefer it to be pretty close so I'm looking for NW Phoenix, Peoria, N. Glendale. If you have info.-please HELP! Thank You.

Hey C.,
I recommend Saguaro Park behind Glendale Public Liabray they have everything you need plus they have Vendors with Snow cones and such. I am not really sure what the price is if in fact there is a fee at all.
Rio Vista PArk on Thunderbird and 93rd Ave, just off the 101 is an awesome park! Lots of play equipment, ramada's, bbq's, skate park, ball fields, small manmade lake to fish, biking and walking paths, etc. IT is really nice. Reservations can be made for the ramad'a to aaure you get one. Usually, they are not all reserved, however. If you go early, you could grab one for the day. You could call The City of Peoria Parks and Rec and they could tell you the cost to rent, as well as availability. We had my son's party there and it was a lot of fun.
This might be too late to help but you can look up by city the parks and recreations departments and call they can tell you which parks have ramadas and such and if they are available. There is a very nice park off of the 101 near Thunderbird that I heard was great for parties. I think it is in the town of Peoria. Good luck.

I just had my son's 6th bday party at suharro ranch park on 59th and olive. the ramada rental was $58 for 4 hours and they have restrooms and a very nice bbq area with lots of field area, play ground space. there is also an awsome park on thunderbird and the 101 that has a wet playground. not sure on how much the rental is. best place to look is the city websites.
