Birthday Party for a 3 Year Old? - The Colony,TX

I don't know where you live, but Planet Pizza in Plano was AWESOME for my step daughters birthday last year. Putt Putt is extremely reasonable. I usually just go wherever the best Saturday special is instead of doing the Party Package there. CHuck E Cheese is loud & expensive. Gatti Town seems fun.

If you want to do something similar to McDonalds but on a healthier note, try Chick-Fil-A. They have a play area like McDonalds does and their prices are reasonable. They even have trays you can buy with assorted nuggets and other items on them. Just an idea! :-)

For our son's 3rd birthday party, we had a taco/nacho buffet bar and let the kids make their own! They loved that! Even with a late January birthday, that day was nice, so we did 3-legged relays, bean bag toss, egg on the spoon races, etc. Very affordable and LOTS of fun!! The kids had a blast!!
(For his 2nd birthday, we hired the "Boogie Woogie Choo Choo" Train man that comes to your home with a 4 wheeler and a train made out of 1/2 barrels with seats inside. He's in Flower Mound and charged $95 for UNLIMITED rides and kids for 1-1/5 hours!!)

We rented a room at a local hotel in The Colony. It has an indoor pool and we are going to take our 3 year old and her friends swimming. We just asked all parents to stay, so that they can be with their child when swimming. Then back to the room after an hour of swimming for cake and ice cream. Great way to have a January birthday!!!

3 is a hard age for most activities. They are right on that edge of things they and other children their age can do. When is his birthday? There are some great parks in Coppell and they have an aquatic center that has indoor activities. We also have a Pump It Up and a Gymnastics center.
