My hubby wants to know what I want for my 30th birthday on Sunday, and I have no ideas!! Any suggestions?? He is an amazing cook, but in needs to be something that all 4 kids will eat...They are 15, 13, 9 and 4 with no allergies among them, just lots of pickiness. lol Also, so no one is left wondering, the oldest three are my step children, but the oldest 2 live with us full time.

What can I do next?

Happy early birthday!!!
Ok, what is the one thing that you think of when your super hungry or just makes you feel warm and happy?? Its your birthday and choose your favorite! We don't eat steak very often so that and a loaded potato would be first on my list :) so what's the first thing that pops in your head.......

How nice to have your husband cook for you! How about Chicken Marsala,
mash potatoes, salad. When you serve it to the kids just do the meat with no sauce or mushrooms. That's how my son eats it. Baked Ziti with meatballs, salad & bread. Or if it's nice outside, grill some chicken with some sides, even mac n cheese the the kids. Meatloaf, potatoes, salad, &
bread. Good luck chosing and Happy Birthday!

Not knowing how old the kids are and if there are any food allergies makes this one sort of a toughie, but here are some of my suggestions:

lasagna
shrimp scampi
red beans and rice
steak and baked potato's

**some more kid friendly ones**
tatertot casserole
meatloaf

Lobster - and if they are picky it will be way cheaper :). It's a splurge but wonderful and the kids are old enough to learn how to eat them if they don't already know.
