Beatles Vs. Elvis (Or Prince Vs. Michael Jackson!)

We were both born in the 70's and we're not big on either O., but if we had to choose it would be Elvis.

And MJ vs. Prince we'd both say early MJ stuff only!

Lol, love this question!!! Elvis for me, as I am old enough to have watched him on t.v.!!! Beatles for hubby.... And I would have to go with a tie between Prince and M.J.

Can I choose all four?
I remember when Elvis died and I also remember when John Lennon was shot and killed, I was very sad about both. I like the older MJ music, when he was a normal guy then he went and started looking like a plastic person and got very weird. And prince was O. of my favorites in HS.

I don't think my hubby likes any of them. He likes hard rock.

Beatles- for both of us actually all of us when our oldest graduated from Jr High we gave him the Beatles Anthology as a gift so I guess it you just pass it on :)

Beatles, definitely. And neither Prince nor MJ...more like Duran Duran or The Cure (and it's BOTH on that).

I like the Beatles and Elvis . I don't like Prince or Michael Jackson though.

Oh that's pretty easy...we are both the same.
Beatles and Michael Jackson (though I don't really like anything of his past the 80's).
I can't say I like anything by Prince, DH likes him though. But DH is a musician, so I think there is respect because of that.
We both like Elvis, but I could never listen to Elvis like I've listened to the Beatles.

Elvis for me, Beatles for him. But that's our parents generation.

For us 80s babies the definitive question is Micheal Jackson or Prince. We are both MJ fans and now so are our kids.

I love the Beatles. My husband would pick Elvis hands down. I would probably pick Prince over MJ and my husband would pick MJ over Prince. There is a lot of music we both like though :-)

That's hard but I'd gave to say Beatles. My husband would say Beatles too.

And I much prefer prince as a person but micheal had more hits.

Beatles vs Elvis is apples to oranges...Beatles wrote their music and Lennon was O. of the best composers in history. I LOVED Elvis' voice, he had "the note". Same with Prince vs MJ...both have/had thier skill sets and I enjoy the music from both performers. So wishy/washy!!

I like more Beatles music than Elvis.
I liked Michael Jackson till Thriller, then I didn't care for anything after that.
Too much crotch grabbing.
I never could stand Prince - him or his music.
He had a mansion on the edge of town where I grew up and he always had no less than 3 groupy women in the town laundry mat doing load after load of laundry almost round the clock.
All their life styles were screwed up.
My husband likes bluegrass.

Beatles for both of us.
And MJ over Prince.

Beatles. I don't like any of the other choices. My husband would choose Beatles and Prince, hands down. But given a real choice, he would choose the Grateful Dead and I would choose Bauhaus :D

Not gonna disect my answer....it's Elvis and Michael...all the way!

Me: My Dad had every Elvis album, so I know every song by heart. Wouldn't really listen to him today.

Hubby: My husband has every Beatles album

I like them both. So bust that theory.

As to Prince or MJ? uh. no comparison. MJ was a freak of nature in his later years. He could put out some good music and such.

Prince? urgh. he had some good 80's songs to dance to.
