I want to redo the kids bathroom. Any ideas for a 6 yr. old boy and 2.5 yr. old girl that share a bathroom?

What can I do next?

My kids love Toy Story and Target now has all of the stuff for bathrooms. There is also a Mickey Mouse theme in red, white, and black.

Maybe an scuba diving theme. Fish, masks, goggles, Mermaid things for girl and submarine things for your son.
I don't have any actual "sets" to offer, but that is what came to mind first.
Have fun!

We have an ocean theme...the bathroom is painted light blue and we have pictures of saltwater fish on the walls.

I shop at Target. My kids have the theme of yellow ducks. Target has the whole set. I have a 10 yr girl and a 4 yr boy. It is also our hall bath but everyone that visits comments on how cute it is.

My 3 boys and one girl share a bath. We went with a beach/ surfer theme. I painted a mural with sandcastles, beach ball,Palm Trees, waves and surf boards. Hung a sign reading "Nude Beach" with an arrow toward the tub. I used a small sand bucket for toothbrushes and a larger one for their trash can. Bright throw rugs. Beach Towels are what we use for their bath towels. Everyone loves the kids bath and make comments on it all the time. It's a lot of fun.

My girls used to have a purple accessorized bathroom with flower decor. When my son was born I switched over to a jungle theme.

Our bathroom color is tan, so I purchased brown rugs, towels and put up a gold/tan jungle themed painting. I purchased a beautiful giraffe statue at Kinkaids. It is tasteful for a hall bathroom, but gender neutral and kid friendly.

I love the sea animal theme too!

I like the wet theme for a kids bathroom, especially sinice my kids bathroom stays soaking wet!!! We've got the fish no slip deals in the tub. I hung a decorative fish net in the corner and we have star fish and a bucket and shovel and plastic fish hanging out of it. I got that idea at Joes' Crab Shack. :) All very inexpensive. I found a cheap shower curtain that is blue water and fish on the bottom and mostly clear with a few bubbles coming from the fish up top. It's great that it's clear so it doesn't get dark for them in the tub. I lucked upon a fish rug and toothbrush holder and a fish shaped soap dish at a garage sale. It's mixmatched, but still coordinated! My point is, I didn't go the the store and buy a ready made theme. I pieced it together and it looks like a fun place for boys AND girls.

Our bathroom for the kids is also our hall bathroom so I wanted something that was both kid friendly but not too over the top. I ended choosing a jungle theme. The walls are painted a tan and I found a gold/tan waffel shower curtain and tan and brown towels. Then as far as wall art I just blow up some photos of different animals that we had taken on one of our family trips to the zoo and put them in matching frames...Pretty easy and inexpensive!

My answer kind of goes along with a couple other posts. I bought some Pottery Barn surf bath mats on Ebay a few years ago, one is pink the other is blue. Found a shower curtain that has a beach with a tiki hut and surfboards at a store around here somewhere, and some cute surfing and beach signs to hang on the wall. They loved it. I also found a place online that made a beach/surf picture with my daughter's name on it in pink, and the same in blue with my son's name in it. We have a Jack and Jill bathroom, so I put one on each door. You could even have them make some stuff with shells on it, like picture frames or something like that to go in there. So many possibilities.
