Does anyone know of a place to get a bathing suit where they will tell you what will look best on your body? Or what suit is best to hide your flaws? I'm about to go to Mexico and have been working out, but my post baby stomach is far from being back in shape! Thanks!!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you everyone for your suggestions! I went to "Everything But Water" in Plano and got a miracle suit and cute cover up! They really helped me find my size and I was extremely comfortable on my trip.

Hi dear C. A, let's be honest the places that sale bathing suits or anything else the only thing they care is to sell, but let me tell you, Im seeing on magazines, internet and my mother tell me what is good for the woman shapes, and if the case is the belly I perfectly will use a black swim-suit that call more the attention on the breast but be sure is one pice, other wise if you are a woman of two pieces, I would use a tankini, the shirt usually covers more of the stomach.
Is more if you leave nearby lewisville area, I could go with you to a mall and help you with that no cost, I will give you just my more honest opinion, here is my email: ____@____.com and good luck.

Landsend.com - They have the best fitting bathing suits! Their website is really good about telling you which suits are best for flaws and their control seperates line is wonderful. I would order several and then whichever ones you don't like you can just return at a Sears store. Sears sells Lands End and will have some suits in the store to try on but the selection is not as good as the Lands End website. Have fun!

I got mine online at Landsend. I love it and it is very flattering. You can mix and match pieces. The tankini's are great!

I think "Just Add Water" may still have that type of service. I know that years ago, they did. A little pricey, but worth it if you can get a good fit that looks good too!

Tankini, baby! They are really flattering, if all you're worried about is your stomach. If you're small chested (like me) then you want underwire. If you're fuller figured and/or still nursing, go for one that ties around the back of the neck with NO underwire or extra padding. A lot of them have removable padding...always a plus. Don't go boy shorts...they're only flattering if you have a super-model skinney (read borderline sickly) body without hips. Show me a mother that does! :-) Ha ha. Strapless suits are only good if you're really small chested....and that goes for the straps that wrap around the neck and are connected at the suit in the middle of your chest. Lastly, accentuate the part of your body that you're most proud of. If you have great legs...go with a high/french cut bottom that has a design. If you are a little insecure about your legs/thighs/butt, go with a splashy top with a fun design. All solids will make you look sleeker. Your stomach will look thinner with a darker, solid color. But...at the end of the day, you just have to go with what you feel confidant in. Go to Mexico and feel great about the fact that you assisted God in a miracle...your little baby!!! Love and blessings to you! And have a margarita for me. :-)

I recently purchased a bra from Loretta's Intimates and noticed that they also carry bathing suits. They have a very professional and polite staff that help you get the exact fit needed for a bra so I am sure they will be great at helping find just the right suit.
They are located near Collin Creek Mall in Plano in the shopping center behind Ulta and The Container Store. Their phone number is ###-###-####. I used them also when I was looking for a nursing bra. I have always been completely satisfied with their services.
