Looking for suggestions for good bath bubbles for my little guy who is almost two. We are going through a bubble phase and I am looking for some bath bubbles that are gentle (don't leave a lot of reidue on my little guy) but still create a good amount of bubbles that stick around for a few minutes. I have tried Parents Choice at Walmart, they are ok, but seem to leave gunk in his hair (even with a rinse). Also, Mr. Bubbles doesn't even suds up into much for bubbles in the first place. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I like Avon's bubble bath. it rinses really well and I never had to wash to tub after to get any residue off. They have specials a lot so you get 2 for $8 or so. They have a special one just for kid's too. And it does bubble pretty well.

avoid bubble baths! most of them have formaldehyde in them and that can cause a plethora or healthy problems for small kids! go to http://www.HealthySafeAndClean.com to see some health issues that i am talking about.
If you are wanting to use a bubble baths, then use a natural ones. I love california baby, although it is a little expensive. I buy all of my stuff from an online club now because all of their stuff is naturally based. They have a bubble bath for kids, although i havent tried it yet, because their multi-purpose cleaner can be used as a bubble bath and that is what i generally use.

I usually just put extra of whatever baby soap I'm using directly under the water and it bubbles up long enough for my kids to take a bath.

We also bought a spout cover that you can put the liquid into it and have it dispense with the water, making bubbles.

I have a bath bubble machine that was gifted to my son. He loves loves loves it! It has suction cups on it so it just attaches to the wall of the bath tub. You simply put water and some of the baby soap or shampoo that you already use in it and it blows bubbles right out of it. (It blows ALOT of bubbles, which is more sudsy like bubbles (not the kind that float into the air) so it just dribbles into the bathtub, which my son gets a kick out of splashing around. Our bubble machine plays music too. Super fun & doesn't leave gunk! I've seen them on Amazon but they're probably sold at Babies R Us or similar stores too.

We use California Baby bubble bath. It's "safer" to use as my daughter is prone to UTIs. It's around $10 at Target or Babies R Us. You can also purchase online. It comes with a bubble wand so the kids can practice blowing bubbles during their bath as well.

We like the Avon bubble bath as well. We got some as a gift from our older neighbor who swore by it and said she used it on all 3 of her kids and we've been using it ever since! They have lots of fun smells and it bubbles really well. Plus, like the other poster mentioned, you never have to clean your tub from gunky residue.

I use Baby Burts (Burt's Bees) as the wash for my son, and just put that under the running faucet. I know that they also make a bubble bath, I just keep forgetting to pick some up.

Good morning M.!

I agree with LeAnne 110%! Be very careful about the products that you use on yourself and your children. What we don't know CAN in fact harm us. It's sad to say but the Federal Government does not regulate the use of chemicals in our everyday products that we use in our homes and on our bodies! I use the bubble bath mentioned called Koala Pals. It's absolutely amazing and I love knowing that my son is okay playing in those bubbles...even if he ingests them, he's okay! Please give me a call to learn more about where to get the products I'm referencing to make your home safer.

Looking forward to speaking with you!
Tisha
