Where are all the good " Back to school sales " for the Dallas area?
I need to find some new fun outfits for my daughter entering 1st grade.
Just wondered where you lovely ladies where finding good deals!
I spent $216.84 and got 16 outfits and 3 pairs of shoes. Not bad if I say so myself.
I really scored at The childrens place in NorthPark shopping centre. I also did great at the OshKosh Outlet in Allen Outlets.
I did also find 6 outfits at " CRAZY 8 " which is a gymborree sister company apparently.

Children's Place, Old Navy, Gap, there are SO many places here.
I would most certainly AVOID the tax free holiday. There are NO sales at that time and you are only getting 8.25% off your bill. You do much better with deals you find at the clothing stores trying to move the summer items.

All the really good sales start AFTER school starts!
We go shopping for new clothes in October, not only for the best deals but because the kids are still wearing their summer clothes for the first several weeks of school :)

Right now, the sales are on summer clothes. Your daughter will just wear what she is wearing right now to school. You live in Texas, isn't it pretty much hot most of the year? No need for wool sweater and cordoroy pants!
Generally speaking, stores use the rest of July to clear out their summer clothes. Toward the end of July and the beginning of August, have your list ready to shop for school things.
Where? Dallas has such great stores, and so many of them, that you'll probably have too many places to choose from! :^)
I just started seeing sales on back to school supplies. I think the sales on clothes might come in August?
My boys like Academy for most of their clothes. We just get some new shorts and shirts to start the year in. And of course new shoes. A friend who has girls shops in Gap and Old Navy for alot of their clothes. Just shop in the places you normally do. Oh - and make sure the school doesn't require uniforms.
The Children's Place has a sale that starts July 24th. If you go in now & by just a little something they will give you a coupon for the 24th sale. The coupon has 25% off of $50 or more, 20% off of $40 or more, or 15% off of $40 & under. The sale lasts until August 6th.
