Hey T.,

I'm not sure what your price range is, but we just booked our lunch reception for our son's baptism, so I have done alot of research that may help you. I am from Deptford, so all of my locations are around here, but this is only about 15 min. from Mullica Hill. I was surprised to see that everywhere I looked fell into approx. the same price range. Places I thought would be too expensive and almost didn't even look at fit into the same price range as our initial picks that we thought would be more afordable. Filamena's in Deptford is great! The food is delicious, the service and people there are wonderful and the ambiance is great. It was approx. $20 a head which includes everything (drink- not including alcohol, salad, entree and dessert). This was our first pick, but they were already booked on the day we needed them. Stone Grill is on the Black Horse Pike. This was my least favortite of the places we were looking, but still nice. They have a large banquet room seperate from the restaurant and priced at approx. $18 a head. We ended up booking at Adelphia's which falls between $17-$24 per person depending on what you choose. They include soup AND salad. However, they charge an extra $2.50 per person for soda. (We thought this was a bit ridiculous. They were the only place we found that charged extra for soda.) Adelphia's also has seperate banquet rooms and everything is beautiful inside this restaurant. Pine Hill Country Club is geourgeous! The people here are very accomodating. They fall into the same price range as Adelphia's, only they include drinks(non-alcoholic).

I've never responded to anything so I don't know how this works. If you have any other questions and I can be of any other help or you want contact name and info for any of these places, and you are able to respond directly to me on here, please don't hesitate to contact me!

Good Luck!

How about the Hollywood diner down near you? If you are trying to keep cost down have it earlier maybe breakfast instead of lunch. Adelphia's has a real nice brunch buffet that is reasonable. I've been to a shower there for that.

It is not a restaurant, but I had my son's baptism reception at Masso's Crystal Room on Delsea Dr. in Glassboro. I think it was like $24.95 pp for food and alcohol included! With no alcohol I think it was about $17.95 or so. It is a little high maybe, but if you want to include alcohol it is really reasonable. The food was also great and you get to take it all home at the end! Depending on how many people it may be worth it. Hope this helps! :)
