I am looking for easy & fun games for my sisters baby shower. It's going to be a relatively small crowd of 10-12 guests. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

J., We recently held a baby shower for a girl here at work and we got a lot of great ideas and games off of www.plan-the-perfect-baby-shower.com. They have a lot of free printable games, like baby shower bingo, that will save you money, too. They have all sorts of themes and gift ideas as well. I made a diaper cake from instructions I found on the site and it was a real hit (and not difficult to do - just be sure you have someone to help you - otherwise, you'll never be able to hold all the diapers up to make the layers!). At any rate, you can't miss with this website. Enjoy! God bless! S.

This game is really, really funny! I have been to several showers that have done it and it is a big hit everytime. Buy a pack of diapers and five or six different kinds of fun size candy bars. For 10-12 people, I would only do one or two sets. You unwrap a candy bar, put in the diaper and melt it. Number the diapers and keep track of which candy bar is in which diaper. You then pass the diapers around and have the guests look at and smell the diaper and write down what they think each candy bar is. The person or top two people get a prize. The good thing about this game is that the mom-to-be will get som diapers and some chocolate!!

just posted this on another thread, so here ya go...!

We had a ton of fun at a baby shower playing a game like "sculptorades" in Cranium. I made some soft dough (that didn't smell like play-doh - that would have made the mom-to-be barf!) and gave one batch to each of 2 teams. The rest of the game is kinda like charades, only the items to guess were baby-related and instead of acting out things, the players took turns 'sculpting' their clues (w/o talking; only gestures allowed had to involve moving the dough). The winning team was the first to shout out the correct word or phrase in a head-to-head format. Both the guys and the gals LOVED this game (& my husband liked it because neither sex got mocked).

HTH & Have fun!!

super easy/ cheap/ and very nice....
get a pkg. of small diapers, index cards, and some sharpies. have everyone take 4-6 index cards and write a nice message/pick-me-up/saying/joke/poem/or a sweet inspiration and enclose each notecard in each diaper.... it is a good "love-note" for the new mommy-to-be to read while changing the baby--esp. the 3am changes and she's exhausted!google "baby shower games" on-line and TONS pop up!

This isn't a game, but a friend of mine told me she recently went to a baby shower and the host gave gift bags to all who attended, with 3 or 4 seeds, and some other stuff, but the seeds represented the new life and they were to plant it. I thought it was so creative.
one game is to take the mother and father's name and see how many girl and boy names you can make out of it.
have people put paper on their head and have them draw a body first, then have them put the baby's head on, then arms, legs, you can even do fingers and toes, the last thing is to put the belly button on, who ever has the best looking baby or the belly button closest, wins...
Have fun!

This isn't a game but it's something really nice that my friend did for us. She had everyone at the shower to write a small something special for our child and wrap it around a small birthday candle. Each year our son has a special candle with a blessing from one of our friends on it.

A game I always like to play is pin the diaper on the baby... have a baby image cut out taped t othe wall and have images of diapers and have blindfolded guests try to tape their diaper the closest to the correct place on the baby image...

I like the game where you have like 20 names of baby animals on a piece of paper and you match the momma animals name with the baby like Kangaroo and Joey...
