I am currently due with baby #2. I plan on using baby monitors in both of the childrens rooms. I want to find a monitor that won't interfer with the one I am currently using, a Fisher Price lights & sounds with vibration.
Can anyone recommend a good one?

What can I do next?

I actually have 2 Fisher Price Lights & Sounds monitors and they seem to work fine together. I have been using them both for about 5 months. In that amount of time, there have only been a few incidents when I could hear both kids through one monitor. Then all I had to do was move one and it stopped. Also, I do have one set to "A" and the other to "B". Hope this helps and good luck!

I have a video monitor where you can see the children in the rooms. You get a camera that you can move anywhere and you can use up to 2 camera's to one monitor. Its the BEST thing I could of purchased!!!

if you go to babiesrus.com and search monitors it allows you to read reviews from other customers of each monitor. that's what we did 2 years ago and I came up with a Sony brand monitor. It was like $40 but it works good and has a voice activated setting choice. (so you don't constantly have to listen to sound machine or whatever other noises might be in the room). I don't know anything about interference with other monitors however but we've never picked up any conversations or anything weird with it.

Yes I believe Sony's monitor had different frequency settings like A B or C where you can set each on a different one...

Graco is a good brand. I don't what kinds they have now. I used one of theirs on and off for 8 years, and I recently had to replace it cause I left it down where the kids could play with. Getting dropped over, and over, and over wore it out finally. I would go with something by Graco. DO NOT buy the brand Summer that Sears sells. I got one of those to replace my old one and it has great features if it actually got the reception it's supposed to get.

The best thing we ever purchased was the video monitor, it allows us to see her completely (most have 'night vision')and know she is safe without her seeing us. It was worth every penny. For audio we use the safety first lights and sounds. It has wonderful range, great battery life, and does not pick up our neighbors monitors either.

When I was registering I read every review on everything I could find. Except monitors. You have to rememebr that what works in one house may not work in yours. It all depends on what could cause interference. My neighbors have the same one as us so we hear their child all the time. If they did not have children ours would be great. You have to try it out and see what will work. Good luck.
