Baby Monitor's

I just moved into a bigger house and now my two boys (ages 3 and 4) have their own rooms. I had a baby monitor in their room before, but I cant seem to find a baby monitor that I can have in each of their rooms with out it interfering with the other. I know that they are a little older and not a baby anymore, but they both have some medical problems and I like to know I can hear them when they need me for anything. Instead they will go into the other ones room and wake them up and both of them will be up several times a night and I’m really getting sleep deprived. We’ve been in the new home for a little over a month and I just need some help or advice. Do they make a baby monitor that has 1 receiver and 2 monitors? All I can seem to find is the ones that have 2 receivers and 1 monitor and I need the opposite.

What can I do next?

Hi C.,

I had the same problem because my 2 girls are in the same room, but my boys are 1 & 2yrs old and need to be in separate rooms so they don't wake each other up.
The only solution we've found was to buy 2 of the Fisher-Price Private Connection Dual Monitors. They each come with 1 base unit and 2 recievers which is great because I can have one in the kitchen and one in my office and be able to hear both of the boys if they are sleeping at the same time. They are on separate channels and we don't get any static or interference from it.
They have them on Target.com and they are $52/each, but well worth it!

Hope this helps.

Hi C.,

I have the angel care monitor that works great and we have a 3 story house. Dear Daughter is 15 months. The monitor is in the babies room (down stairs) and 2 receivers, 1 in the master bedroom (up stairs), the other receiver is a spare for us. When I am upstairs and baby and dad are in the kitchen I can still hear them talking. I really think this would work for you even being in one boys room, just set the sensitivity on the monitor to high. I hope this is of some help. They are about $99.00.

God Bless,
T.:)

I think because you have a unique situation in needing 2 monitors you may have to buy 2 sets?? I have recently been looking for a new one myself and haven't seen anything like what you are looking for. As far as the interference goes maybe you need one that is 900 mhz or whatever in above that and put them on different channels?? I hope this helps and good luck!

Check with Radio Shack... when I needed them a few years ago for my in home daycare they were the ones I purchased... and I could get up to 4 of the camara/monitors to hook up to each other. The monitors were black and white but they had night vision too... it worked real well.
