When you give it to them, LOL. Most babies love it. I read this online to get you a more professional answer:

Introduce juice when your baby can drink from a cup. Don't serve juice in a bottle. Your baby may keep the bottle in her mouth too long, which can promote tooth decay. Give your baby no more than 2 ounces of juice a day. You want to make sure she has room to take enough breast milk or formula.

The girls in my office and I all think that we started our kids around 4 months. I watered it down though and did half water and half juice.

My advice is ask your Doctor. No one really knows if babies need juice before the age of 1. I started mine at about 9 months in a cup only mixed half with water. This teaches them to use a cup because they like the juice. Juice contains alot of sugar so most websites recommend only 4 oz. per day. Also giving juice in a bottle can cause tooth decay. Look for Gerber websites or the American Pediatric Association.

I don't start my babies on juice at all. It's such a sugar thing that they will start preferring. So I just started my sons on water, and they still love it. If you do start juice, try using 1/4 part juice and 3/4 part water.
