I need to buy two baby gates I need to block my baby out of the kitchen. I am looking to get some used ones. I have looked in Craig's list but cannot find anything that I am looking for. Do any of you have any baby gates for sale?
I have 2 gates. One is metal/adjustable that screws on the wall (e.g. the type used for top of staircases but can be used for any area). The other is plastic with mesh. If interested email me at ____@____.com
You might want to try freecycle.org or babycycle on yahoo groups. You can post a "wanted" ad or read what other people are giving away!
post on freecycle on yahoo that you are looking for baby gates, you never know someone might have one or two to give away.
Depending on what you are looking for, Walmart has some really inexpensive gates. Just kind of easy wooden ones. They don't have a door, but are low enough for adults to step over, so they might work for you. I think Target carries them too. I used them in various places at my parents home this summer. Out of all of the gates we had, these were the most durable, but you did have to attach them to the walls or cupboards, we also used them for our kitchen. Let me know if you are interested!
