We have had several mother's that have been interested in joining a playgroup in the area(I'm in Arlington) or even starting one. I have found out some information on how to start one. If you woul be interested in joing please let me know & we can get everyone together for a general get to know each other & decide how we want to do this meeting. I know I need to get my youngest interacting with other children his age & just don't think that Church is the only place it should be. I look forward to hearing from everyone soon.

Ok so I have had a few people interested so I am just going to set up a date. Let's shoot for next Tuesday, October 3rd, at 11 am at the Burger King on Little Road. That way we can do it at lunch time & the kids can play in the play area & we can discuss some things. Some of the things we need to decide on is how often we want to do this, what kind of activities, the different times, if we want to make it at one central location or switch, whether or not it will be a drop-off or if we all stay & do the activities with the children. There are many things that need to be discussed so please come with an open mind & ideas. Also, so that doesn't interfere with nap time. My baby just turned 1 and I would love for her to interact with other kids. She just lights up when she see's other kids. I think its time. How does the playgroup work? I'm a first time mom so I new at all of this. I live in S. Arlington.

i am interested too. i have a little boy that just turned one TODAY (26th) and would love for him to have more friends. i also have my niece that lives with me (and my sister) she is 18 months too. this could be fun. im in south arlington.

I live in Arlington as well. I am SAHM of a 19 mo old son and a 3 mo old daughter. I'm interested in scrapbooking and anything fun and creative as well. We love to be active and anything in the outdoors. Please let me know what you decide about playgroup. I have done a few in Dallas and have a had great luck with my son.
