Are You on the Phone....?

Yep.

I don't flush, though! Not until after I've hung up. Although with my new phone thingmy I COULD... it cancels noises so well I can have a conversation in a Jeep with the roof off, and in a nightclub, and all they're getting is my voice. But it's habit.

No way...there are very specific things that I do in the bathroom and talking on the phone is NOT one of them.

My husband does and it grosses me out.

I would never talk on the phone while going potty.. Yucky..

I'm a potty texter... I'll text anyone and everyone... I also do some emailing.

I hate the phone and Im not on there unless I have to be... and if Im on there and nature calls, yup your coming along with me.

I will try to hold out if its Dr or someone kinda important.. but after 5 kids and weak bladder they aren't always excluded either.

I almost sure my husband has cameras in the house and he on purpose calls me when I am in there!
In fact I think he just trained my brain that phone = pee.
Just today, he happened to call me twice, which for my surprise I wasn't in there, but as soon he calls I had to go, no joking.
On other times with other people, I try don't, a few times it just had to happen, like when you are with tech and they put you on hold (lol, I just laugh because they put you in hold...in the bathroom, haha, ok maybe it was funny just to me)for hours and just happen that they pick up just when you are in there!
So, yeah, I never do it on purpose and if I could I never would but it just happens sometimes.

My husband does ..and it bothers me because he takes forever ...is this a guy thing or what?? i dont get it.

When I use the restroom? Do you mean, when I'm in the "office".

Yep I go to the bathroom on the phone, guilty as charged. I run the sink or put my phone on mute. No one is ever the wiser.

No, I do not. And if I am in a public restroom and it sounds like someone in there is on the phone I am super mature and make sure I flush the toilet sevral, several times.

Only at home with my sisters on the landline. Never on my cell phone in a public place. I never take the cell into the bathroom because I am so afraid of dropping it into the toilet.

I have got to say...that as an ordinary 'thing' I don not speak while in the restroom...

BUT when my mom calls...it is like 'pavlov's' dogs!! I HAVE to pee!!

We have joked about it...

I am the opposite of LivTokyo....well...sorta. My best friend since junior highschool, for sure. We went to the bathroom together as kids and were there for the birth of each other's children. There are no secrets left to tell.

My husband, on the other hand? It took five years for me to pee with him outside the door. I will never be so married that I want either of us to talk on the phone to each other while in the bathroom, or (horror of horrors) do any of that business with the door open. I know....it makes me a silly prude....but it just grosses me out.

I have this irrational fear that I'd drop the phone in the toilet.
Besides, phones get dirty enough without that kind of residue on them.

It depends on whom I am talking to. Family and friends, sure. People I don't know- nope!

I do this, it's more often than not the only place I can hear MYSELF think, let alone whoever's on the phone. On a side note, I do always give the person I'm talking to a head's up... they do it to ;)

no. there is a place and time for everything, even talking on the phone...except when using the bathroom.

Oh my gosh, my husband is on the phone, does his paperwork there, reads the articles, clips coupons, and insists I walk around him to go to the bathroom when he shaves. Yikes, I just gave too much information. I then cannot figure out why he would want to be romantic after he won't wait and I am sending stinky smells into the world. Go figure. As for me, I admit it, I have used the phone there and then run water if I have to flush the toilet, I am sure everyone can hear it, but so far no bad comments. You are very normal.

Hahaha, I don't think anyone deserves to hear me doing my business while talking on the phone. There is a time and a place for everything and those each have their own! Funny question though!

NEVER. But one time while chatting with a good friend, I heard what I thought was water running.. I said, hey you doing the dishes? and she said No,,, and then I heard the toilet flush. Women for the most part dont even want another woman hear them pee,, I just dont get it.

All the time. Multitasking is a must, lol!

My hubby and my neice do. I don't. When you're on the other end, you can tell they're in the bathroom.

I do only with certain people, very few certain people. Lol. I hear people talking on the phone in public restrooms all the time. Don't do it there. But yeah, very common. Just remember to sanitize your phone from time to time.

I saw a news clip on texting while in the bathroom on HLN today---:) I have only texted once or twice in the bathroom. But NEVER have talked to anyone or made any phone calls while on the throne :)

No. I find it unsanitary. I used to work for a mobile phone company and people did that a LOT. I was so grossed out and always made sure not to touch anyone's phone no matter which new release it was and no matter how cool it was. :o) Also, I wondered how someone could stay on the line hearing another person evacuate their bowels or bladder. Ew. :x

damn! that's disgusting, I could never do that not even with family, it would be too embarrassing. what if they heard the toilet flushing or worse , a fart. but hey kudos to you if it doesn't bother you :o)

I may have done it a few times at home, probably with my mom or sister on the phone lol But certainly never out in public!

Only when I'm talking to my mom...she keeps me on the phone forever! But yes, I do. :/

I have been on the phone when I really have to pee (sorry TMI), but this only happens if I am on with my mom or another close family member.

No, I do not talk on the phone when I use the bathroom. Eeeewwww. Like 25 years ago, when I had my first corporate job, the president of the company had an extension in his office bathroom. I could see what extension he was calling from if he called the switchboard and knowing he was talking to me from the bathroom was gross

No. Sometimes, my mom will call me when I'm flushing (why always her?) and I'll answer.
