Anyone Use "ZeroRez" Service for Carpet Cleaning?

I was searching on carpet cleaning companies in the Dallas area, and came across ZeroRez. Anyone use them or have comments about their products/services? They seem rather pricey at first glance.

What can I do next?

We love Zerorez. They are pricier than some others but worth it. I agree that they do try to upsell but just decide in advance what you are going to pay and stick with it. Also they advertise on KLIF AM 570 a lot and sometimes have specials if you say you heard them on KLIF.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Yes, we used them early September 2010. We highly recommend them. They are slightly higher than similar cleaning services, however we believe they provide a better value. They claim carpets will remain cleaner after their cleaning, because they don't use detergents or surfactants that re-attract dirt. We've found this to be true. After a month, our carpets appear as clean as the day they were cleaned by ZeroRez. We have not found this to be true with other services. But the most convincing evidence for us is that old stains have not reappeared. We had half a dozen deep stains that would disappear with a cleaning, but then reappear just a couple weeks later. After a month, none of these old stains show even the slightest evidence of reappearing. And the technician was careful and courteous. We will most certainly use this company again.

I kept hearing about this company on the radio and thought about giving them a try. I called them to come out and give me a price quote first. I have about 1600 sg feet of carpet and they quoted my 1000.00!!!! I was in shock!! I would have never guessed that! I do have some pet stains that they would have to "special" treat the areas but 1000.00 for a carpet clean!!! It was 2 guys that came to do the estimate and I was never given a written estimate. It was a "verbal" quote. ????? Hmm... I would not use this company - VERY EXPENSIVE!!!

Yes, but they are the BEST!! I wouldn't use any other carpet cleaner. They use a high powered vaccuum to suck everything out of your carpet instead of tons of chemicals massaged into the carpet. When my daughter was 2 years old, she wrote all over our tan couches with black sharpie marker and they got every bit of it out. I can't say enough about them!!

One thing to note is that they do like to upsell. Make sure you figure out what you want and stand firm. That's the only thing I don't like about them is they try to get you with more services once they're in the home. They've gotten much better (use to be worse, they must have gotten complaints), but they still do it some.

Hope this helps,
A.

I have used them once, wasn't too happy with the results, especially for the price. We have friends on the otherhand who have used them and liked what they got! So, I guess it really depends on who they send out to perform the work!

I haven't used them, but if you'd like someone who does an AWESOME job at a good price, then you need to call Angelic Restoration (who also is listed on mamasource!). They're incredible... I've referred them to clients of mine as well and they've always been great. Call them at ###-###-####

I work for Fiber-Seal, which has been in business since 1971. We, too, seem pricey at first glance, but offer a 12-month service contract to remove any spots if you choose to protect your carpets. We apply a sprayed-on product that reduces the absorbency rate of the fibers, so if your dog piddles or your kids drop their pizza on the floor, you have time to blot up the mess. Your next step is to call us, then we'll schedule a spot call and come out for NO extra charge. Of course, if the entire neighborhood comes over and drops pizza everywhere, then it would be a full clean job, but at that point I would reconsider ever serving pizza to those neighbors! :-)

Seriously, though, when we clean carpets (or furniture, since we do that, too), you know up front what the cost is. I would come out to do the estimate and the techs (who have all been with us for over 7 years) concentrate on getting rid of the stains. We do warm-water extraction and only on rare occasions do we use the encapsulating method that the previous poster described. All of our products are tested thoroughly for environmental safety, as they have to conform to CA standards, too, since we have offices there as well.

Lots of information for you, but I am really picky as to what comes into my house, especially since I'm a cancer survivor of 7 years. If I didn't believe in this company, I wouldn't be with them. Please call me if you would like me to give you an estimate. Thanks, and good luck with your search!

Just used them for the first time. Appointment window was from 11 to 2. They did not show up until 4:30 after much back and forth phone conversation to determine what was going on. We were very mad about this as we had already moved furniture, vaccumed, etc in preparation for their arrival. Did get a free carpet protectant for them being so late. Men were nice, did try to sell a few extras, but we just said no. Carpet looks good.

HI S.,

I have not used ZeroRez. I use Cornerstone ChemDry and they are fabulous. They have a product that is very safe for the carpet, your family and pets. The product is called the Natural and it contains no soaps, detergents, solvents, enzymes or other harsh chemicals. Also your carpets are basically dry when they leave and you can walk on them right then. Their prices are very good as well. My carpets always look brand new after they clean them. You can call them at ###-###-####. If you do use them can you tell them that M. D. referred you.
