We are looking for a fridge, we recently moved and this morning our fridge decided it wasnt going to work any more and we are looking for someone that may have one they arent using that they would like to get rid or, or that they dont want too much for. Thank You!

What can I do next?

Freecycle si great we use it as well so definatly check there but if you really get in a bind, I'm in erie county and have a fridge i've been trying to get rid of last time it was hooked up it worked just fine but it is older and not much to look at but it would get you through for awhile and i will gladly give it away. just let me know.

You might want to check your local freecycle group (you can find them through freecycle.org). I know the freecycle group in Akron has fridges offered for free periodically and I've seen that the Cleveland area group often has them as well.

You might want to check with your county job & family services office, too. Our fridge decided to quit on us on Memorial Day weekend last year, just a month after we moved into our house. We went without a fridge for over a month. It was ridiculous. My brother brought us his mini-dorm fridge to use, thankfully. And our neighbors lent us their camper cooler that plugs in. But through doing some calling around to the Salvation Army and Goodwill, we came across a county program that even helps you with broken down vehicles, purchase of new (used) vehicles, stoves, refrigerators, etc. to families who qualify. It's income contingent, but it's worth checking into. I wish I could remember the name of the program. But I'm in Stark County. Lorain might have something similar, though. So it's worth doing some calling around. Good luck!!

I have a waist high deep freezer that you can have if you can come to Chillicothe (Ross County)
It runs great but its a big older so its not the most beautiful thing youll ever see.
