Hey Lori,
I use the Schick Intuition shaver in the shower. I have used this for the last several years. I had a major problem with razor bumps and nicks with my super dry skin. The dermatologist told me about this and have had absolutely no problems since. It is really meant for the shower or bath but if you had to do a spot, it works okay dry (I tend to forget my knees and have to do them after the shower). I love this shaver and have recommended it to several friends who love it now too. As long as it is on the store shelves, I will buy it. Nothing works better in my opinion and I dont miss the nicks at all!

Lori,

I use the Venus Vibrance with the Embrace head that has 5 blades. The shaft of the Vibrance has one AAA battery and makes the whole thing vibrate (for exfoliation I think).

Anyway, since I started using the Embrace shaver head I haven't seen any nicks or cuts; and I'm one to get them at my ankles, kneecaps, and behind my knees.

Hope this helps,
Melissa

I like the Venus. It has a battery but is safe in the shower.
