Does anyone have an old sprint phone they want to sell? My phone broke and I'm not up for an upgrade and can;t afford the whopping 650 for the new phone they had in stock. I'm checking Craigslist but thought I'd check here to. If not do you know anywhere to get a used phone cheap?

What can I do next?

I have a no-frills Sprint phone (no email or aps) that we've been meaning to donate. If you pay for shipping, I think flat-rate is $8, I'll send it to you. PM M.!

I have bought numerous phones off of eBay with success. (Although I must admit I did get a bad one once.) It also helps to know what series your Sprint SIM card is compatible with because that will give you more options.

My final suggestion is to find a Sprint authorized repair facitlity. A lot of repairs can be made for $35. Although I learned that sometimes you're better off going to one of the non-corporate store authorized repair facilities.

I aways took ours to their corporate stores (that were repair facilities) but they did not work with M. as well. This last time the corporate store was closed for remodeling so I checked out the authorized repair center. While the Sprint store could find nothing wrong with the phone and simply changed the battery, the other repair facility said it tested fine also but swapped out my phone for a refurbished one (which solved the problem by the way).

The corporate store also gave M. a hassle because my 'dot' was red when it should be whtie. They swore I had gotten it wet when I had not. I was afraid that if something goes wrong with it down the road they will not repair it because of this. The authorized repair facility told M. not to worry about it. Bring it back there because they realize those dots have poor placement.

From my experiences they are J. more helpful and not looking to make a buck off of you.

Good luck!

We ahve bought many over the years, used off of Craigslist. One rec...get it local enough for them to meet you at a local CORPORATE store location and ahve it transferred there. The store will run it thru and make sure there is no issues with it in regards to you being able to activate it. If the previous owner left charges owed on it, they will not activate it for anyone, no matter if you can show proof of purchase, etc (meaning those charges are not yours, etc). We were told they J. can't and won't do it.

Good luck!
