Hi Ellen
I tried it and HATED it. The info on my local stores was not update. When I asked they pointed out the small print- that not all sales are valid at all stores.
I do much better price matching at WalMart Market and then stocking up on coupon related things when Albertsons does a triple coupon day or even Krogers regular double stuff.

I am currently signed up with the game, but haven't been able to "play" for the last four weeks or so. I have saved some good amounts, but I think if you really are brand-specific or very particular about what you buy, then it might not be for you. I definitely recommend trying the trial, then even a month or so after to really see if it works. I shop at Tom Thumb, and I don't like that I only have three days (Sun-Tuesday) to get my stuff before the sale runs out. That's partly why I haven't done it in a few weeks- busy and lazy. Good luck!

Well, I love it. You should at least try it for the 4 weeks for $1. I have learned so much about saving on groceries. Additionally, check out the message boards. They are free and you can pick up SO much information on them, like free apple juice, free oreos, etc.

I also have a DVD explaining the grocery game in depth. Let me know if you would like to borrow it. I live in Rowlett too and would be happy to lend it to you and share more tips.

LOVE The Grocery Game!! It takes a little bit of organizing, but I regularly save at least 40% on my grocery bill every month. I save well over the price I pay for the service, and my family loves it, as I usually come home with more goodies than I would otherwise - and save tons of money at the same time. It's definitely well worth trying it $1 for the 1st month (and try all the stores in your area during that trial period, just to see what works for you.) If you don't like it, you're only out $1. I'm addicted, though, to the savings, as are a lot of the women I know who also play! In fact, if you haven't gotten anybody to refer you, send me a message and I'll get you my email address (or can send you an invitation to join - your call)...when referrals sign up, I can get free weeks, so I'm all about referring as well!
