Any Suggestions on Strollers for Tall Parents?

My husband and I are both tall - 5'10 and 6' and are looking for a stroller that has longer handles where we don't have to stoop to push it or kick the back tires while walking. Our 1st stroller we had years ago with our 1st son was so uncomfortable that I ended up with a back ache just from pushing it! Anyway, we are in the beginning process of looking for strollers again and just wanted to know what's out there. Thanks, in advance.

Maclaren makes excellent umbrella strollers and are great for tall parents.

We have a Zooper Hula with adjustable handles and InStep Jogging stroller that work fine for hubby (6'2).
I suggest to try them out at a store and purchase online for a good deal.

There are a ton of strollers on the market these days that have handles that extend for taller people. I just purchased the Phil and Ted's Sport stroller and the handle goes out quite far. Yes, you will probably have to pay a little more, but you'll also get a stroller that will last longer. I suggest checking out REI (they sell the Bob and Phil and Ted's) and Babies R Us. Good luck!

I'm 6`1", and 7 years ago there was NOTHING in the states that worked...but when we went to visit family in Europe I absolutely fell in LOVE with the pram-type strollers that are everywhere over there.

There are the obvious benefits of your infant facing you (instead of strangers/the glaring sun/traffic/etc.), but then they're also smaller (front to back/side to side) so they're more maneuverable, and TALLER. Your wee one is in arms reach AND for a tall chick like me, I could actually USE them. The two I used in Italy actually had adjustable height things so that the "driver" could raise or lower the bed AND the handlebar so it was perfect for THEM.

I've noticed that some stores (Land of Nod for one) are starting to carry the type...but I haven't checked them out to see if they're as cool as the ones in Italy and the UK.

My husband and I are both tall... I'm just over 5'9" and my husband is about 6'1". We got a Kolcraft Contour online. The wheel base is a little wide (my only gripe), but you definitely won't be kicking them! This one seems to be tall enough for both of us. It has an option of using an infant car seat with it or the seat that comes with it for bigger babes. Baby can face out or face you. I've loved it.
