Chadwick school in Palos Verdes is excellent and provides transportation and/or carpool information.

There is a private high school in El Segundo - Vista Mar, I believe? It's non-denominational and is supposedly a pretty good school.

Hi L.,

I wish there were some private Jewish high schools in the South Bay to which I could refer you. There's an excellent option in Irvine and then more in LA proper, of course. There are however, two wonderful synagogues in your area; one Conservative and one Reform, offering excellent preschool, religious school and camp programming. There's also sleep-away Jewish camp, if your children are of age, and some very generous incentive scholarships if your family meets certain criteria. For more information about any of the above, please feel free to contact me anytime; the concierge service is complimentary! And don't forget to check out our website: http://www.jkidla.com for information about formal, informal and just fun things to do in Jewish LA with your kids!!
Best,

I think there are some in P.V... Mira Costa is a good school though, as public ones go. Better yet is Bishop Montgomery, but yes, it is a Catholic school. My girlfriend is Jewish and went to a Catholic school, it is not as uncommon as you'd think. ;-)
