Looking for recommendation for pediatric surgeons with hernia cases. Does anybody have a review on Dr. Klaus See-Tho, general surgeon at Camino Medical Group?

What can I do next?

I just wanted to put in another good word for Dr Hartman. He is the nicest man and comes very very well recommended. My baby had surgery when she was 2 months old and he made us feel very secure and did a wonderful job. I really can't say enough nice things about him.

Dr. Carla Cassani of the Camino Medical Group is very good and I trust her implicitly. She did my son's hernia operation a few years ago and was great. She was trained at Stanford. Dr. Gary Hartman is also fantastic. I know both of these surgeons from when I worked in the Dept. of Surgery at Stanford.

My son has a hydrocyl (sp?) and we are working with a surgeon named Gary Hartman. He was reccomended to me by my pediatrician, but I also researched him and he is highly recomended. He is a medical professor through Stanford Medical, so he is based in Palo Alto, but he has a sattelite office in San Jose near Good Samaritan Hospital. He is affiliated with Lucille Packard hospital. good Luck!!!

When my son was 3.5 y/o he had a hydrocele and was fixed by doctors at CMG. He did just fine, but I later learned that while they are in there, they are supposed to look at both sides. Turns out he had a varicocele on the other side that needed to be fixed. We didn't find this out until he was 12 y/o. While the surgeons at CMG are great for adults, they are not usually pediatric surgeons. I recommend Dr. William Kennedy, M.D. of Stanford. He is great. He takes his time to explain everything and is very thorough. Good luck.
