Any One Here Ever Been or Is a Surrogate Mom?

I am in the process of being a surrogate mother also via traditional surrogacy. Alot of people also think the same when I tell them, that I am in it for money. I know in my heart that I'm not, so I just let it go in one ear and out the other! Do you live in Iowa? I do! I find it more difficult that there aren't many surrogates (like none) around me and find it difficult to relate to anyone close to me because they just don't get it. I think that what you are doing is awesome..My boyfriend and I are on our second child together, but we also have his and mine which makes five.So it must be difficult to do this sort of thing with children at home, cause they must get rather confused about it. If i didnt have to have repeat c-sections I might even think about it.
as far as the money goes, everything cost money. And your giving these people a part of you, one of your eggs. I think that you are a real angel. good luck on finding you next couple. there are alot of good people out there who want babies but can't produce them, so your giving them a chance of a life time.

Hello I have never known anyone that is a surrogate mom and I think that what you are doing is wonderful. I have three friends right now that are trying to adopt. One is a wonderful couple who run a daycare and have been trying to get pregnant for many years with no luck. I have not been a surrogate mom but I have a problem in that area. I have some medical problems and was FORSED in to having my tubes tide and I am now married to a wonderful wonderful man and we really want to have a baby together and I don't have much money but am willing to save money. Do you have any Ideas on how we can go about having a baby together without having to spend a ton of money. I mean we really realy want to have a baby please help me.
