We are in a very similar situation. We've used MaidPro. This franchise supported Frisco, Plano, Carrolton. They were awesome! We are very picky...but, were pleased with their service and price. They have a 49-point check system that they use as a baseline for cleaning. You can walk through it after they've completed to ensure they've done everything. (They cleaned the ceiling fans AND blinds AND baseboards everytime!!!)
You might put a posting at the local junior college... looking for a college student to clean. Never know.
It is relatively easy to maintain a home plus work, have a child/husband...
On certain days do certain things ie vaccum/dust, mop the floors. Day two clean the bathrooms. Day three change sheets/linens...and wash and return them to the bed/bathroom. Empty trash and clean trash can when needed... load the clothes washer either in the morning/evening and set washer to start. As soon as you get up in the morning or walk in the afternoon, start the washer... by the time you've changed clothes done this/that, the clean clothes will be ready to go into the dryer or to be hung... And pick up/put away items after they are finished being utilized...
In the laundry room... have individual baskets: work clothes, white clothes, heavy clothes ie jeans/towels...This way you can dump the clothes in the washer without having to stand there and sort...
Oh and by the way... these chores are male friendly ie husband friendly!
