Has anyone gone to or know any info (especially pregnancy, labor & delivery info) about Dr. Dobbins or Dr. Beeson in Yukon, OK or Dr. Hager in OKC??? Our insurance has changed, and I'm almost a year overdue for my yearly checkup!! Woops!! Thanks so much! Or any info on Dr. Hager would be great too. She is on our insurance, and I have heard a little about her, but Yukon would be a lot closer for us! Ha.

What can I do next?

I haven't heard of D.. Hager. I've heard wonderful things about D.. Beeson. My sister-in-law is seeing her for her pregnancy right now and she absolutely loves her. The only doctor that I've dealt with personally was D.. Dobbins. I don't think that she is accepting new patients right now. I've heard other mamasource moms love her but my experience with her was not favorable (along with my sis-n-law and close friend). I thought she was great during my pregnancy (easy to talk to) but it was my delivery that was not great. If you'd like to message me privately I can give more details, but I don't want to offend anyone else that has had good experiences with her. I think you would really like Beeson though. Best wishes.

Hi there! I was just going to let you know that I delivered my last daughter with D. Dobbins and at Yukon Integris. I enjoyed D. Dobbins alot she is very nice and take her time with you. She made all of my appts. Fun like taking to a close girlfriend about everything. The hospital was great when I went and they did do everything in the room with me. They only took her out for the hearing screening the last day we were there. Very nice staff and small and quite!Know that is fixing to be 4 years on feb 28th so somethings may have change, but I highly recomend them. Please feel free to ask me any question I will let you know what I can. S.

D.. Hager delivered my first child, and we absolutely loved her. It was no question whether or not to go back to her for my 2nd pregnancy. However, when I came down w/ a sinus infection during my 2nd she refused to treat it, saying that I had to go to my PCP. My PCP refused to treat it, saying that my OB needed to treat me. In my professional opinion as an RN, an OB should be your PCP while pregnant, and should treat whatever comes up. I was very unhappy about this. That issue, along w/ several other little things that happened previously caused me to change OB's halfway through my 2nd pregnancy. Here are a few of the other things that happened which gave me a general feeling of uneasiness about her practice.
-the office staff is not very friendly at all.
-you will be charged $10 for any prescription that you need outside of a D.. appt. I needed pre-natal pills, and they were going to charge me for that. WHAT???
-She put the wrong due date down on my triple screen, so it came up positive.
-She got the birth weight of my son wrong in her office records.
-The new OB that I changed to told me that she has one of the highest C-section rates in town. Her dad (D.. Strebel)will deliver you if D.. Hager is unavailable, has almost a 100% c-section rate. According to other reviews on this website - he is not very nice at all.
-One of the anesthesiologists I work with flat out told me that D.. Hager was mean. He has seen this in person. This is coming from an extremely nice man.
-I don't feel like she really listened to my concerns. She was always in a hurry.

Hope this helps. Good Luck.

I don't really recognize any of these doctors, and this may be of no use to you. But I recently had my first baby in November. I met my doctor through my sister, a couple years ago. His name is D.. Christopher Lane D.O. He is through St. Anthony Hospital. He is absolutely amazing. I chose my insurance based on still being able to go to him. He is very down to earth and is a real person. Which makes him very informative on my level. This is very important to me in a doctor. I have to tell you though he def has a case of ADD and OCD. (But don't we all) I think it makes him who he is. :) He is Def one of a kind. If I could I would go to him for everything regarding my health.

I work at the Yukon hospital so I have had a lot of experiences with both Beeson and Dobbins. Both are wonderful. You should also consider JD Lackey--he offices with D.. Dobbins. I just can't remember if Dobbins is now taking new patients or not. Dobbins is my personal doctor and I love her style and committment to patient care.

I am on my second pregnancy and have used D.. Hager with both. I love her and highly recommend her to everyone. She is so sweet and makes you feel completely comfortable. I am very surprised to hear that someone said she has a high c-section rate, she has never once mentioned a c-section to me during either one of my pregnancies.
