Hi N.! I would love to recommend my child care provider. Her name is Vesa (I call her Ms. Vesa)and she was a nanny for 3 kids for 8 years. The only reason she is not with that family anymore is because the youngest child is in school. As such, she decided to start her own child care in the beginning of September. Vesa recently renovated half of her home for the child care and everything is new and clean. There are two large rooms for kids to run/crawl around. That is what really impressed me when I went to visit with her.

I found her by initially looking on the Bright From the Start web-site (http://www.decal.state.ga.us/), and then I saw her on craigslist...so I took it as a sign...as weird as that sounds. Plus, I visited five of the other child care providers who worked out of their homes and I was really not impressed, as I felt like they just put some toys in their living room and opened up shop. When I took my son to visit Vesa, we stayed for 2 hours just talking. In fact, I spend about 20 minutes chatting with her when I go to pick my son up and I've gotten to know her well. That has just increased my comfort level.

My son is almost 7 months-old and he has been with her since he was 6 weeks. She is very loving and attentive and has advice for any challenge you may have. My son used to have a difficult time with formula and Vesa would wrap his stomach with a blanket to push the gas out a bit and it worked! She is currently looking for 1 full-time baby. She currently has 3 part-timers and my son, who is full-time..and I love that. She wants to be able to give special attention to each child and that's exactly what happens. When my son sees her, he just smiles....sooo sweet. She gets a better giggle out of him than I do :-)

She is so wonderful and I want to do anything I possibly can to help her find a new munchkin. She is originally from Bosnia, so she has a bit of a thick accent, which may scare some away...I don't know. But she is the sweetest lady you'll ever meet.

Anyhoo, let me know if you have any other questions. I would be happy to help!

Thanks,
M.

P.S. Sorry so long :-)
