Sam's Club is good if you don't mind buying in bulk. You can try Aldi for some things. It is an "off brand" store. And have you checked out Angel Food Ministries? The food is an awesome deal and highest quality. My mother did it for a while when my brother was at home. We've eaten some of the steaks and my husband said they are some of the best he's had! The catch is that you have to order their packages, pay up front, and be available to pick up when the food is delivered. Check it out:

You don't need to apply or qualify. It is open to everyone.

Buy great produce at Dekalb Farmers Market. I know others save money at Aldi (as mentioned to you already). You really will be able to eat healthy on a tight budget if you stick to whole foods (meat, veggie, fruit). Keep it simple. Avoid the boxed mixes and foods with ingredients you can't recognize because over time they will cost you a fortune in medical expenses when your health declines.

I have a large family. We eat very well on a budget. We also cut costs by making many things ourselves (including bread from freshly ground grains).

This is a service offered to anyone. Go to their website to view the grocery box for this month. $30 for the basic grocery box, then you can add on . We've done it the last two months. It helps with the grocery bill.
From the website you can find a pickup location near you to call and get the details on when to order, pay and pickup. Good luck.

Aldi usually has some cheap stuff. there is one on scenic hwy near webb ginn. My friend shops there and says she does so to save money. My sister in law prefers to shop at walmart for groceries. I usually go to kroger and shop sale items and use coupons because they double anything 50 cents and under. And we have the kroger credit card and pay for everything with it and then we get cashback checks like a couple months later that you can use toward anything in the store. Hope that helps you a little.

Is there an Aldi close by? Also, try the Dekalb Farmer's Market in Decatur (I don't think that's too far from St. Mountain). They have amazing prices on a huge variety of produce, as well as lots of healthy foods and specialty items. Of course, you may not be able to get everything you need in one stop there but you will save so much on produce.

Hi there! I shop at Aldi too, and let me tell ya, they are about to finish a new one on Hwy 124, snellville, close to Walmart, so It will be much closer to you, and me, yay!!!!!!!!!!! I shop at my Kroger too, because they put everything reduced when it's a couple of days to the expiration day, I mean everything, and I freeze, freeze, I'm not sure all Krogers do this, but mine does.
