Has anyone ever done an All Inclusive Vacation to FL? We are planning a couples trip and would prefer an all inclusive but don't know where to start. I know I can google it but I'd like to know your experiences. We aren't 100% set on FL but somewhere domestic for sure as we don't have passports. The group we are with can only be gone about 4 days and they aren't fond of Mexico. Any tips would be appreciated.

Club Med Sandpiper in FL. I guess google Beaches resorts too for any US locations? Like cold weather? An Alaskan Cruise?

as for personal experience, if you're not big "tourist" vacationers - i.e. 2 museums and one historic sight per day, then they're great. The all inclusive is perfect for "just want to get away and relax" vacations.
You get up, walk to one of a couple restaurants serving breakfast. Then you plan your day - snorkel class at 1? Shuffleboard? Volleyball? Tennis? Read a book on the beach and have a drink?
Then you lunch at one of three of four restaurants serving lunch. A little siesta followed by a dip in one of the 3 pools. Then shower and get ready for dinner at one of 5 restaurants on the grounds.
Everyone meets up later for whatever entertainment they offer - or go out for drinks.
And the kicker - it's all free! Every meal and drink and most activities. But you're likely only going to leave the resort a couple of times - well that was mexico, but i would imagine they're similar in the US.
All inclusives are hard to come by in the continental US. The Sandpiper, mentioned below, is about the only one I've been able to find in FL.
Has your group thought about Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands? You don't need a passport to go there, yet they have the exotic feel of the Caribbean and great beaches. There are a lot more all inclusives in those areas. Also, you might check out Costco's travel web site. They have great deals there and have agents who can advise you. Someone in your group will, however, need to be a Costco member. Your most efficient travel to the Caribbean would be from Kansas City on Delta or USAirways. Then you would only have to make one stop to your tropical destination.
