Looking for suggestions for reasonably priced all inclusive family friendly resorts in the Caribbean. Mexico is my first choice, but the price will dictate where we go. FYI - we have 3 kids ages 8, 5, and 4, and a place w/ a kids club would be nice. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

We just went to Beaches Turks & Caicos this summer. It has a kids club that is age-based (different ones for different ages). It has Sesame Street characters running around as well as a Sesame Street production every night. The Italian/Caribbean district had most of the better restaurants, although all of the restaurants were decent. Lots of variety regarding food, and we would definitely do it again. If you want to know any more about it, PM me and I'll give you some more details!

Try looking into "Atlantis" resort in the Bahamas. I heard that place is really nice...but have never been myself. I just saw a commercial that had alot of speacials and credits being offered right now including $300 credit towards your airfair. That can really help keep the cost lower I would think!

My aunt has established a "second career" for herself as a travel agent. She is now allowed to sell Beaches (the family version of Sandals) vacations. I just went to a presentation on what's included and WOW! If I didn't already have 2 trips planned for next year, I'd be planning a trip to the Caribbean! PM me if you'd like more information. She lives in NM, but I'm sure she could help you out (or at least give you some more information).

There are some great ones in the Dominican Republic. We were at a Beaches a year ago and it was incredibly family friendly with kids groups and activities. Plus, I felt very safe on the resort.
