My 6 yr old will be in 1st grade this coming fall & will be attending Abbett Elementary. I am looking for a good daycare that will pick him up from there.

I also have a 3 yr old little boy that I would prefer to have him at the same place. So I can pick them both up at one place after work.

Thanks in advance!

So I did check with the school & they gave me a list. Thanks for that idea... So here are my options... Any suggestions/opinions from the list below?

Glenwood Day School
Imagination Station
Kindercare (Campbell & Big Spring)
Oak Hill
Primrose @ Breckenridge
Primrose @ Firewheel

They also mentioned a couple In-Home day cares, but I'm not for sure about that idea. (Carpe Diem; Doris Day Care; Susan McCain Day Care)

Any thoughts/suggestions are appreciated!

What can I do next?

Our elementary school kept a list of providers and phone numbers for interested parents. There are some school districts near us that off after school care, but ours was not one of them so they kept a list instead.

Our daycare center is in the school district boundaries, so the school bus can pick up and drop off.

I would call the school and see if they have a list of providers. If the providers are within the district boundaries, your oldest should be able to ride the bus there after school.

My kids go to Abbett, I can tell you Oak Hill is a favorite Amon the families there, Primrose is also popular. Not as many go to Imagination Station, bit I have heard good things about it. I'm not familiar with the others.
Welcome to Abbett!

If you contact the local office where parents who need assistance with child care go they should have a complete list of every licensed child care facility and home.

If they are on that list you should be able to go to the website of that agency and read every facilities previous inspection reports and any concerns parents have posted.

I have always been able to find exactly what I was looking for from that list.
