We are looking to purchase a new swin set for our 3 kids (ages 5, 3 and 6 months). I have done some research and think I have narrowed my search down to Rainbow Play Systems and Woodplay Playsets. We are specifically looking at the supesized castle model of the rainbow, and the outback series in the woodplay.
I was wondering if any one owns either of these and can give me feedback.

If you have a different swing set, feel free to let me know how you like it as well.
Thank you!

with 3 kiddos under 5 years old I would buy whatever set you can afford. Your children will get 12 + years of enjoyment out if it regardless if it cost $100 from walmart or $5000 from the rainbow company. Kids just want to have fun!

Hi there,

We are very happy with our Backyard Adventures set. They are expensive, but after looking at all different kinds of sets, I found them to be the safest and most well-built. We've had ours for four years now and it's still looking great.

Good luck!

We bought a Rainbow play-system about 5 years ago. My kids are 8, 6 and 18 months now. It is great! Yes we paid a bit more but the sturdiness of it makes it worth it! It will be around for many years to come. I don't know anything about the other brand you are looking at but Rainbow has been great for us over the years and all visiting kids love it too!

I am not sure about the actual swing set but put 4-6" of pea stone under it. The pea stone has the best 'Mellon' impact test rating. Which is the safety test for head injuries. I had a climber, a fearless child who thrilled at jumping off the swing and hanging like a sloth from the main carring member. I do not think she ever fell, not that I know of anyway.....but it made me feel better to know she had the best safety net should she fall. Also we had cats and cats in the neighborhood that would have left unpleasant gifts in sand if we had opted for the less costly route.

Best of luck with the swing girls loved theirs.

What did you end up doing? We are in the same place - debating Woodplay or Rainbow. I haven't found many people who have woodplay, but would love to hear from someone who does and what they think of it?
