Hello- We have zeroed in on these two models-- Acura TL '09 or Infiniti G37 '09-- for our new all wheel drive sedan. The cars have been test driven, financing issues worked out, colors chosen BUT we have not been able to decide which one to buy-- almost ALL the features are comparable , we've even discussed the cup holder !! Has any one had any experiences-good or bad- with either of these models?

What can I do next?

We have an 03 TL and LOVE IT! It runs beautifully (and is paid-off). When it's time for another car, we will be getting another Acura. Reliable and safe- expensive to repair, but repairs are few and far between.

Hi! We are on our second Acura TL and could not be happier. Don't know too much about Infinity except that they are supposed to be great as well. I know you will not be disappointed if you go with the Acura. Their service department is great, too. Just call and schedule a loaner when you drop your car off. Nothing but good things to say about the TL from us:)

Hi--We are on our 4th Acura and could not be happier. Have had the TL since they came out (2000? maybe), last one was a 2005. I thought i was ready for a change (plus the deal at the time was better) so I got the Volvo S60 (my husband still has the Acura MDX--which is also awesome!!!) I REALLY love the Volvo too (much more comfy seats) but the Acura has more luxury features (the stereo, speakers, inside asthetics, etc) I would go back to the Acura for my next car if space wasn't an issue! Go with it, you won't be disappointed!

Go to consumer reports and research both cars. You can pay $14 for a report on each car.

We had a 2000 TL and was incredible! The best car I ever drove but we had to get rid of it for the minivan :(

The TL gets my vote...I'm jealous!

We had a G35, which was amazing. That car was fast! The G37 is supposed to be even better.

Ohhhhh I remember a time when I drove a sporty little number! They are both super cute. You go, mama!

Hi C.,

The CR Best & Worst Cars just came out this month. As an earlier respondant mentioned, you can get a full report on each for $14, but here is the short story:

Acura TL: CR recommended. The redesigned 2009 TL is pleasant but it doesn't excel in its class. The 3.5L V6 and 5-spd automatic for a slick powertrain that returns a good 23 mpg overall. We found the handling taut and poised, and the ride compliant, but the vague steering lacks feedback. Road noise stands out in the otherwise quiet interior. The front seats are supportive, but the rear seat is tight. The well-finished interior is clutte with buttons. Crash-test results are impressive. An AWD model with a larger engine and tauter suspension is also avaialable. Reliability: 4 (out of 5) Satisfaction: 4 Owner cost: 3

Infinity G: CR recommended. The G is quick, sporty and pleasant. For 2009 all trims get the 3.7L V6 and 7-spd automatic that improves fuel economy. The care is blistering quick, yet returns 21 mpg overall. Whilel the V6 is a bit loud at high revs, the car is now quieter at highway speeds. Handling remains agile and predictable, with a taut yet compliant ride. The interior has high quality materials and easy-to-use controls. But the cabin is a bit snug and the trunk is small. AWD is available on both the coupe and sedan. Reliability: 5 Satisfaction: 4 Owner cost: 3

I subscribe to CR, so let me know if you want anymore specifics. Enjoy!!
