Seeing as it is winter and we just moved here to Nebraska!
I am looking for a place that has activities for a child under 3 years old. Any place from music to crafts to storytime and play. Just wanting to ask other mom's where they have found some good places to recommend!

What can I do next?

Most of the Barnes & Noble and Borders Bookstores have childrens story times. You just need to call and check the individual stores for days and times. There's also places like My Gym and PE 101 that offer classes for all different age ranges. I do also know a number of moms that have enrolled their children in Kindermusic and are very happy with it.

We have opened a new gymnastics center called Omaha Metro Stars Gymnastics. We offer classes ages 9 months and up. We would love to have your child come to try a free class. Give me a call....###-###-#### or ###-###-####.

I would suggest the Omaha Childrens Museum. They have lots of fun things to do, and you can buy a yearly membership, that way you can take advantage of it all year on rainy days, days that are too hot to do anything else, and the colder winter months. Another idea is the Zoo. You can spend alot of time at indoor activities there too! Pack a picnic and enjoy the aquarium or the jungle--again, I would recommend buying a season pass. Lastly, there is always the Omaha Public Library..they have story times, just check with the location closest too you for dates and times. C. K

Have you tried the local library? Also, the Omaha Children's Museum has alot of activities for children of all ages, and a family year-long membership isn't priced too bad!
