I was just wondering if any of you moms have traded in your old baby gear for the 25% coupon. I noticed that you could trade in only certain brands. My mom has a cheap carter's umbrella stroller, do you know if Babys R Us would let me trade an umbrella stroller?? for a coupon??? Have any of you mom's done it?
If you look on the BabiesRUs website it has all the particulars as far as what you can trade in and what you can use the coupon towards. I do know you have to use the coupon the same day your trade in.
It is listed right on there website what all the details of what they are taking. we traded our old carseat that my son was just about fitting in for a coupon and got a new carseat although they don't have to be from the same category you trade in a crib and buy a stroller.
Umbrella strollers are not on the list of acceptable items. You can call the store to double check but I doubt they want a cheap umbrella stroller.
You can trade in any brand of any qualifying item (like your umbrella stroller) to get a 25% coupon to be used that day only for any qualifying item(crib, stroller, highchair, etc.) from those specified brands. I traded in an old Cosco carseat that was missing the pad (thanks to my cat) for a coupon to buy my Britax carseat.
No where on the BRU website does it specify what kind of stroller you can trade-in, so umbrella strollers, no matter how cheap, still qualify. The previous post was incorrect.
We took in a used Chicco bucket infant seat and got a coupon that we used for a new convertible Even-flo carseat. The man we spoke to said that you can use the coupon for any item of the brands participating. He said we could even bring in a carseat base for a coupon! If Carter's is on the list of accepted brands, you can definitely bring in an umbrella stroller - and use the coupon for any type of baby gear. :)
