Yes, 2 years ago. I started in feb and used a tampon (I never use them) and one day later my period stopped. It was too early for it to stop so I didn't know what was going on! Skipped march and took a test, negative. I finally started at the very end of april. I have no idea why it happened! I've always been 28 days like clock work but the older I get its wacky! Im blaming it on the aging process!!

Oops - sore boobs is one symptom of pregnancy. You might have to check in a week or two to see if you are pregnant.

I was 10 or 11 days late last year. I took like 8 pg tests and they were all negative (yes, I am a freak and should buy stock in First Response:) ). I have NEVER missed a period in my life or been that late without being pg. I'm irregular, but in the sense that I sometimes will have a cycle as short as 20 days- never more than 28. I got so worried that I called the doctor. They told me to wait a few more days and call back if it still didn't start. I did start a few days after that and the only reason I can come up with for being so late is stress. We are/have been going through a lot financial stress and at that time, my husband and I were arguing a lot- there wasn't anything else that could have caused it. Good luck!

Okay you need to start using condoms or something because pulling out it not a form of birth control, it is just having unprotected sex without the fun ending.

Go out and take a pregnancy test, chances are you are pregnant.

It could be that you ovulated late. Your period comes 14 days after you ovulate. If you were extra stressed on the day you should have ovulated, then your body will delay.

I'm in the same boat. My period is nine days late and I don't see any signs that it's coming. I have a bunch of pregnancy symptoms but FIVEA TESTS have shown negative. Yes, I needed to be super-sure! At this point, I think a doctor visit is warranted. I have no risk factors for any other issues, other than being 42 and possibly being in perimenopause. But I've never missed a period before ohjer than when I was pregnant so I'm baffled. Good luck!
