A Good OB Here in Bossier or Shreveport Who Takes Tricare

I'm not sure if this OB takes tricare or not but this is a good doctor, his name is Dr. Carter and he is at Womens Health Associates

Hands down, Doctors for Women at Pierremont! I see Jacque LaBarre, but they also have two women, Debra Cline and Stephanie Sockrider. I have not seen them before, but the facility is wonderful. They have all of the latest equipment and even offer the 4-D ultrasound!!! I am actually due with our second daughter in two weeks, so my experiance with them is still very fresh! It's a pain to have to go into the hospital to see my doctor, but absolutely worth the care that they give! I originally saw a doctor at Christus Schumpert, and it was so disgusting that I went through the entire refferal process again to get someone else! I assume that anyone you find at Pierremont would be good, because the hospital is so new. But Dr. Labarre is very laid back yet precautionary. If you are still in your first Tri-mester, I would go and meet the doctor you are considering first, then get your refferal. If you decide you don't like them, it is VERY hard to go back and change it!

Women's Health Associates in Bossier (Willis Knighton hospital) or in Shreveport, accept Tricare. I used Dr Dean my whole pregnancy, but Dr Hart delivered my son (Dr Dean was on vacation). I have seen Dr Carter as well and I must say all of them are very friendly. I would definitely reccomend them.

Dr. Tandy McElwee at WK Bossier! He is so awsome. He delievered my first one and I had Tricare. I love him, his nurses and just everything about him. Hes GREAT!

I would definitly recommend Dr. James Boyd over at Christus Schumpert. He accepts Tricare and is the one who del ivered my son. He is the only doctor in his practice so there is no mystery about who is going to deliver your baby. He delivers all of them. Whatimpresses me so much is that I rarely spent more than 10 minutes waiting in the waiting room. He is not super chatty, but always patiently and thoroughly answered my questions. His receptionist and nurse are also very friendly and very helpful. He delivers babies at Christus Schumpert on Fairfield and I loved my experience there.

Many Ob's in the area take Tricare and many of them are excellent Doctors. I myself would recommend Dr. Christy Waltman who is across the street from WKPierremont. She is wonderful!

Try Dr. Jake Majors. When we were with Tricare 3 years ago, his office accepted it. We are with a different insurance company now, but I have still stayed with this office. His bedside manner is awesome, and he actually listens to what you have to say. The only downside is that he is VERY popular, and the wait time to see him isn't always pretty. But, I personally think he's worth it. He was with me through my endometriosis (which led to fertility problems), through my high-risk pregnancy and then through the very end when I had cervical cancer. I can't say how highly I recommend him. His office number, if you're interested, is ###-###-####.
