Simone Whitmore, MD in Duluth. She is right on Pleasant Hill Road. She is wonderful and her staff is very personable. I tried Altanta Gynecology (also on Pleasant Hill) and was not pleased with the services that were provided after I moved here from Virginia.

Best wishes!

I really like Atlanta OB/GYN. Check out their website. They are all really kind, close knit and family oriented: http://www.atlantagynob.com

Contact Labor of Love Doula Services.

http://www.alaboroflove.org/

They have worked with most of the doctors in the atlanta/duluth area so they can tell you who they would reccommend based on what you are looking for.

If you don't have a Doula seriously look into it. I don't know what I would have done without my Doula from Labor of Love.

Hi M.. I recommend Castillo/Walters OB-GYN. They have two locations, one in Duluth on Pleasant Hill and one in Atlanta, off or Chamblee Dunwoody Rd off of 285. I see Dr.Jacqueline Walters and love her to death! I had my son in April of 2006 but have seen her regularly after that. My co-workers also see her as well. The number is ###-###-####.

Hope this helps!

Dr. Joseph Pohl at Gwinnett Medical Hospital is the man to see. His office is at the hospital. He is awesome. He delivered both of my children and I highly recommend him. His office staff is fantastic too.

I don't know where exactly in Duluth you are, but you might want to consider North Point OB/GYN. They have two offices, one in Roswell and one in Cumming (depending where you are in Duluth these may not be too far). I have used them for years and they delivered my daughter. I was referred to them by friends and I would say about 80% of the women I know use them). I think all the doctors there are great (however, Siegal and Barret are my personal favorites). Here's a link to their website: http://www.npobgyn.com/

Welcome to the area. Dr. Jose Garcia is located at Northside Hospital and also has offices in Alpharetta. He is excellent!!!!!!! They have a large group and a very good reputation. You can look their number up by going onto Northside Hospital website and check into physician referral. Also, they have an excellent Woman's pavillion and beautiful labor and delivery rooms. Good luck.

Hi,
I highly recommend North Atlanta Women's Specialists, in Johns Creek...I see Dr. John Donnelly, and he has delivered two of my three children via c-sec., he has always been so great...he took time to meet with me when I was not yet a patient, because a friend recommended I contact him when my own doctor didn't have "an opening"...and I was pregnant, and bleeding...and worried, so he saw me right away, did an ultrasound, and gained a new patient immediately...i've been going to him ever since...It is a group, and I have seen a couple of the other doctors but since I had two scheduled c-sec., I mostly just saw him...Their phone # is: ###-###-####. Good Luck!

Dr. Jose Garcia.
He is located in Alpharetta (not far from Duluth).
I had my last baby in 2007.
I loved his office and the staff's warm bedside manner.
They did not push when I declined to have unneccessary testing done.
Dr. Garcia was very supportive of our pregnancy and birth.
Good luck and God Bless you and your family as you celebrate this NEW LIFE!

I had 2 of my 3 with Dr. Pohl as my OB/GYN and wish I'd known him before the first! He is excellent and will support a natural birth if you decide to go that route. We took classes for the Bradley method, which I also HIGHLY recommend (again, wish I'd known about before my first pregnancy). Having done both the traditional and natural approach as well as childbirth classes, it is my personal experience and opinion that every pregnant mom and her coach would benefit from the in depth information received in the Bradley method course--even if they don't plan on a natural birth. The usual classes offered are severely lacking in comparison. Best wishes!
