Hi Moms,
I am 7 weeks pregnant with my third baby and I have been experiencing spotting for about 85% of the time that I've been pregnant. Some days its light and others it seems to be a bit heavy. I have never miscarried before but I'm starting to get a bit concerned. Today when I went to the restroom I could feel it dripping out of me, but It actually wasn't much just a few drops. The blood is usually dark, but today it was actually pale pinkish. However, tonight it has returned back to dark. I wear a liner everyday just to try to keep an eye on how much it is and there is rarely anything on the liner. I only see it when I wipe. I have had no cramping or back pain. But I do have severe bloating and gas and nausea. I have my first ob appointment on Tuesday morning. Has anyone experienced this?

What can I do next?

I had spotting while pregnant with both my kids at 6-7 weeks, but it stopped after a week or two and then everything was fine. I was directed to take it easy, drink plenty of fluids, and keep my feet up. Best wishes.

I spotted with my son.
Started off dark and a about the size of a quarter, then got less and less. This happened 2x. At 7 weeks and 12 weeks.

At the time, my doctor told me that I could be having a full blown period, and the baby could be fine. In the same boat, I could be fine and miscarry the next day.
The point was, that there's nothing you can do about it.
Statistics show that once you see a heartbeat on an ultrasounnd, your chances of miscarriage decreased by 95%.

Hang in there mama. If it's been the whole time and there doesn't seem to be an increase in bleeding or brightness going on, chances are that things are fine.

I had gone through this with both of my pregnancies and they both turned out to be just fine. I hope by now you have gone to your appt and everything is fine. When I experienced spotting I informed my Dr. who called M. in for a sonogram just to be safe. My spotting, though, was more of a brownish color. Please let us know how your appt. goes. I know it's scary. Good luck,Hun.

i would go to the Dr right away or urgent care . I lost 7 pregnancies and seeing blood is never a good sign . i had one Ectopic pregnancy and at 8 weeks it burst inside me and i almost lost my life that time .
so call your Dr tomorrow morning and let him do ultrasound to make sure everything is okay . I do hope that every thing is okay with and with the baby . keep us posted please .

I have been through this three times and in each case I miscarried. I had spotting with the first pregnancy, went to the ER and had one of those internal sonograms which was inconlusive. That one miscarried at 10 weeks. The 2nd time I had heard the heartbeat at 13 weeks and lost it at 16 weeks. In both cases I did not know the baby had died until it was on its way out. In the 3rd case I had a tubal pregnancy which required another trip to the ER, then surgery and the loss of a tube.

I was eventually put on heavy doses of progesterone (Prometrium) and those pregnancies survived.

I wish you the best...

Yes! I had spotting with two of my three full term pregnancies. With baby #1, I spotted until I was about 11 weeks along. With baby #2, I spotted until about 9 weeks. My OB gave me sonograms with each pregnancy for reassurance that the spotting was nothing to be concerned about.

Congrats on baby #3! I hope all goes well.

I to would bleed when I was about seven weeks pregnant. The doctor said light bleeding is normal, but I would see my doc right away or go to urgent care. Just to be on the safe side.

I did at 6 months and it turned out to be nothing. However, you need to be checked and have the Doctor tell you if there is a problem. Take your liner with you so that they can look at it - this is what my Doctor told me.

I know that one can go onto a normal pregnancy with bleeding, but with my first loss, (ectopic) I spotted for 10 days before my pain came and then I had emergency surgery. Both other times, I spotted for a day and then miscarried.
My sister though, had spotting with her 3rd child and now my niece is almost 5, so it's hard to say.
