I gave birth about 5 months ago and still have A LOT of baby weight to loose. I've been looking at many of the programs out there and am very interested in the 6 week body makeover. I've seen a lot of good reviews but I'm very leery about making these types of purchases. It seems compatible with my budget, time constraints and dietary needs. Can anyone recommend this program above any others? Thanks! (P.S. Ive tried weight watchers with little success)

What can I do next?

Congrats on your baby girl!!

I am not sure of other programs and I want to share with you is a wonderful weight management system from Arbonne called the Figure 8 Weight loss. It is awesome! The products are totally Vegan and taste yummy. The program has a 45 day $$ back guarantee.
Please check out the website at www.gofigure8.com. There is inspiration, motivation and you can even get a partner to hold each other accountable :)
The Arbonne website is www.arbonne.com
I am here for you if you have any questions,

I almost bought it too but changed my mind after reading more reviews. It seemed to be more hype then anything. Have you tried eating/excercising for your blood type? I found some interesting info at www.diettv.com. It has really worked for a friend of mine and I'm getting ready to try it myself. I don't remember the name but there is a website that reviews all the different diets. Try googling "diet reviews". I have several friends who used a leptin based program VERY successfully. It was a bit pricey ($200+-)but she had great health results as well as "inch loss" and toning results too. They really don't recommend a "diet" if you are breastfeeding so I haven't tried it YET. But, I will.... Email me privately if you want more info. Hth... and good luck!!!

I work in the fitness industry and I am not particularly familiar with "The 6 week body makeover". My recommendation is: I would be leary of purchasing supplements and leary of crash diets...
The "KEY" is:
* Proper Nutrition, Portion Control, Exercise, Creating an Active Lifestyle...
* Exercise 5-6 times a week if you want to see results.
* Just Cardio is NOT enough ~ "Strength Training is a MUST". Small meals 5-6 times a day.
* Healthy foods: Fresh Fruits, Veggies, Fish, Salads (Low Carbs but You do need carbs.) Potatoes, Brown Rice...
I always use a child size plate to help with portion control...
* Drinks LOTS & LOTS of WATER.
Good luck!

Just simple walking 2-mile/day and Breastfeeding.Helped me immensely!i've lost 15-20 lbs in one yr.
I also hit the gym 3x/week for an hour.i've also
changed my eating habits for the better! MORE fresh

I have used the 6 week body makeover and it did work so long as I followed the program but as soon as I stopped all the weight came back on. You have to give up all sodium on the program so if you don't plan on giving up sodium for the rest of your life I wouldn't use the program. I have 3 children and the only thing that has worked to get weight off and keep it off since I had my third has been a complete lifestyle change of how I eat and regular exercise. Everything else works if you are willing to make that your new lifestyle.

I called 6 week body makeover to see if I can use it while breastfeeding and they said no. I have done this program with a friend and lost 2 dress sizes (pre baby). I would recommend it if you are not breastfeeding!
