Hi
I am asking for some help on where to have my son's 4th birthday. We live in the East Valley (Chandler). Since it will be August we would LIKE to have the party indoors. Last year we did have it at Makutu's Island and the two years before that at our house. We have been to 8 birthdays this years all at Bounce Places. So we are kind of burnt out on those. Any ideas or suggestions would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

What can I do next?

Jump and Shout in Mesa is a great place. They have a few inflatables, but most of their things are climbing.

Jeepers in Mesa is an awesome place for that age. You can book the party on-line at www.funindoor.com and also check out the place. My kids now 6 & 7 still love it there. The cost is reasonable also. Good luck.

We often do Chucke Cheese which is alot cheaper than those places....I hate summer birthdays cause you run out of ideas! My son is July. Amazing Jakes is another place my son liked.

We had my daughter's 5th birthday at USA Gymnastics (USA Youth and Fitness on Ray and Gilbert). Everyone had a blast! You have the entire place to yourself, they have a "teacher" (usually a teen) who will lead some games or obstacle courses if you want, and then you can pretty much have an open gym. There is a huge foam pit, 3 trampolines built into the floor, a tumble track, etc. Everyone thought it was awesome.

However, leave yourself enough time to have cake and open presents... the kids were having so much fun, we didn't go upstairs to do cake and gifts until later and then she was pretty much ripping open the gifts as people were leaving!

We also went to a summer party at the AquaSafe swim school which is in the building next door and it was great!

The Little Gym does great birthday parties. There is one in Ahwatukee (Ray about 2miles west of the 10) I take my son there for classes and their staff is great, so I know your party would be great too.

Last year we had my son's birthday (end of June) at Amazing Jakes, he turned one so there wasn't a whole lot to do for kids that young - but most of his cousins and "friends" are older so it was a great time for all. They have great food and a lot of fun games, rides and even movies. This year we rented a public swimming pool in Mesa and we are having the party in the evening.

Chuck E Cheese, Peter Piper, or a bowling party. My 3 & 4 yo sons would really LOVE any of those.
