4Th of July Prizes

My neighborhood has a big 4th of July party every year. This year I am part of the planning committee. I am in charge of getting prizes for carnival games. I'd planned on ordering from Oriental Trading and have had my shopping cart open for days trying to figure out how to get what we need within our budget. I finally went to place my order yesterday and it was too late! the $20 shipping to get it here before the 4th is out of our budget. Does anyone know of a great party store, with great prices, in the northern Utah Valley or Southern Salt Lake Valley. I've been to Party Land in Lehi before, but there prices weren't that great. I also thought of going to a dollar store, but I'm not sure what the best one would be. If anyone has any great ideas I would appreciate it. Thanks

What can I do next?

Try Zurchers. I have gotten some very reasonably priced prizes there. There is one off of 2100 south or by Babies R Us in Midvale. I would try that first.
I would also check the dollar stores. And another place is Target. Right in the front they have a whole section of stuff for a dollar. When you are buying a lot I know that can add up but sometimes they have some fun stuff and maybe you could get a couple of "grand prizes."
I have also found some fun stuff for kids at Tuesday Mornings. This is more in the way of games, like travel games or blocks or something, but maybe worth checking out. A little more money though. But you never can tell what you might find there:)
Try ksl.com just for fun.
If you want to get candy bars, or candy, as a prize the cheapest place that I have found is costco.
Other places that often times has a little dollar section are craft stores and you can get some fun stuff for kids, and adults. Try Johanne's or Michaels for the best prices.
Good Luck!

I like Zurchers. They seem to be reasonably priced. I would also check out All-a-dollar, Walmart or Kmart. You might be able to find packaged items that could be split into two or three different prizes.

There is a dollar store, Honks in provo on Freedom Blvd. It has some stuff (not much though). There is also a place called "
Zuchers or something close to that in Orem, it is across from one of the Alpine credit unions on the east side of state street on 8th south. Cant remeber prices though. It is a party store

Out of all the dollar stores I've been too, Dollar Tree has by far the best selection and quality. Of course, it's still a dollar store, so it's not GREAT quality, but I don't shop at any other dollar stores.
