Hi Moms, I don't want to go to Tempe Town Lake for fireworks and I'm wondering what else is there? I HATE crowds and I'm wondering if anyone knows of a church or park that is having a firework show that may not be super crowded. I'm in the East Valley. THANKS!!!

What can I do next?

Good Morning F.,

Living Word Bible Church on Brown and Val Vista is doing fireworks. You can show up early to reserve your spot on the green belt. They will have security in place to watch and protect your belongings while you enjoy the activities inside. The service starts at 5:00. They will have a patriotic show, indoor BBQ and entertainmnet and then fireworks. The church is at 3520 E. Brown Rd., Mesa, AZ
Their phone # is ###-###-####

That's the only one I know of in Mesa. It's a great place for families!

Hope you can make it!

It is gonna be hard this year as there are alot of places cancelling due to the economy so I would call were ever you decide to go first. As far as the Central Christian Church they are NOT having there's this year. Depending on were in the East Valley you live & the fact you don't like crowds (I don't either) but we watch the one's set off from AJ high school (Ironwood/US60) We don't go into the school becasue of the crowds but we either sit across the street in the Walgreens parking lot or we sometimes park on the side of the road on Southern/Meridian area can still see all the fireworks & not worry about traffic & the crowds we just pack ice chest/snacks.. Hope everyone has a Safe & Happy 4th

Sometimes we drive to the airport and park on the upper level parking lot and just watch all of them go off around the valley. You can bring your own music and there is no smoking or lots of people. (Plus my little kids get a kick out of the airplanes too).

Get out of the heat and head of to Payson. It's only 1 1/2 hours away, cute town, great fireworks show with food, and all day festivities. Not too many places in Phx are putting on fireworks lately. Too expensive. Have fun!

These places are pretty neat............ Central Christian Church, they have two locations, one on Lindsey and Brown and one on Lindsey and Germann. Not sure if they are doing them at the Germann location yet, but i know they do them at the Brown location every year. There is also Schnepp Farms that has a neat thing too. That is on Rittenhouse off of Ellsworth Rd. in Queen Creek. Good Luck!!

I found that Schnepfs Farms has a great venue. Not to pricey for car load. Has fun stuff for kids during day and great fireworks. Not seemingly crowded till you notice all the cars leaving but great. Haven't had such a great 4th any place since forever. We are not crowd people either. Oh, vendors have booths set up with food and such. Bring $ for that. Look up the sight and see price to get in.
Good Luck happy 4th
