The Clarkston Parade is a lot of fun. They also have fun things to do/see at Clintonwood Park (including a spray park) during the day and fireworks at night. Here is the link to all the information http://www.twp.independence.mi.us/Services/ParksandRec/In...
If you go, I would suggest parking at the high school and taking the shuttle, especially if you plan to stay for the fireworks.
Hope you enjoy your holiday!

If your son is not scare of loud noises take him to kensington metroparks fireworks show. He will love the colors. Go early and enjoy a great picnic.

City of Rochester Hills is having their Festival of the Hills on Tuesday 7/1 6 - 11 pm at Borden Park. Admission is free. They have all kinds of venders and music and usually several fun things for the kids to do. The fireworks show is at 10pm. You can call 248-841-BOOM or visit their website, www.rochesterhills.org for more info.

I know that the city of Clawson does a great family parade and also wonderful fireworks. How does your baby respond to loud noises? One of my kids loved fireworks and the other would freak out and I would stay indoors.
