Hi, if you get a chance , search my question titled "Tell me about your 4-6 month olds' sleeping schedule". Lots of answers there. At 4 months, I always felt that my baby's feeding schedule conflicted with his nap schedule. He ate every 3 hours (breastfed) and slept every 2! He went to bed around 9 and woke up between 7-8. I think he would get up 1 or 2 times to feed (usually at 3 and 6) Depending on when he woke up, he would be awake for 2 hours, then nap. Nap times were inconsistent, typicially between 30mins to an hour.

He is almost 11 months now and I am still tweaking his sleep schedule, trying to find what is best. One thing I would have done differently if I could have a "do-over' is I would have given an earlier bedtime a try for a week and see if his napping would have been less erratic.

When my daughter was 4 months there was absolutely no schedule for her sleeping. She would go down for a nap 2 hours after she last woke up. Her naps usually only lasted about 30-45 min. So she would usually take 3-4 naps every day. She went to bed pretty early (7-ish), but did not sleep through the night- she would wake several times/night to eat (can't now remember if it was 2 or 3 times/night at 4 months). Her wake up time in the morning varied every day.

When she was 4 months old her typical schedule was:

bed @ 6:30 pm

awake @ 6:30 am

1st nap: 8:30-10 am
2nd nap:12:00- 1:30 pm
3rd nap: 3:30- 4:30 pm

We sleep trained her @ 4 months old and she has been an excellent sleeper ever since.

My daughter (21 weeks) sleeps great at night but she isn't much of a napper. Sometimes she takes an hour nap in the morning around 9 and that's it for the day. Other times she takes one in the morning and one in the late afternoon. She has been doing this since 3.5 months.

My daughter goes to bed between 8 and 8:30, wakes up around 5 to eat and then goes right back to sleep until about 7-7:30. Throughout the day she stays awake for about an hour and a half to 2 hours and then naps for 45 minutes to an hour. We don't really have set times for her naps, just whenever she gets sleepy (lol -although my mom keeps telling me to put her on a "schedule")
