Well I just found out that I'm having another girl :) That makes my 3rd, all girls.. But regardless, I'm DONE after this one! Of course Hubby was praying for a boy this time, but health is all that really matters, period! Right now I have a 6 yr old, 19 month old and the new baby will be due 10/23. Couple issues... My 19 month old is a wild one and she totally wears me out already, i just can't imagine having another in the mix! How was it for you mommy's with 3 when the 3rd was born? Tips? Everyone I talk to says its hard, haven't heard anything positive about 3 yet! Yikes..
The other question.. I need help with a name! My 6 yr old is Emily Renee, and my 19 month old is Samantha Lynn.... So something pretty traditonal to go with those names :)
Thanks

Other girl names I LOVE are:

I'm Kathleen Marie and I go by K. or Katie.

19mo I swear is the WORST age, they can't communicate yet but understand everything. I had a baby when my son was 22 mo and 22mo+ he was much easier. I heard the same thing before it happened and it's true...once they can communicate a bit things get much easier. Good luck!

I am also a fan of traditional names. I really like Catherine or Lily. Good luck with your little ones! On the upside, when your newest is born should be about the time the 19 month old will be at the wanting to help mommy phase and maybe will want to help, within reason, with the baby.

My daughters are Lauren E. and Catherine Yates (who we call Kate). Let's see, if we had a third girl I would be going with Lillian or Ellen (grandmothers' names) or Margaret (Maggie)--Annabelle is cute too. More traditional names are actually less popular these days it seems but we stuck with them too. They never go out of style! Three girls is going to be a blast. I think we are done with two but if we had one more, I would be so excited for another girl.

In regard to a middle name, both of your daughters have middle names that end in a double letter. You could pick a middle middle which continues this double letter ending: Kendall, Jess, Scarlett...

Some ideas...
Katherine Kendall
Amelia Jess
Mia Scarlett

I grew up with 3 girls and loved it. I wasn't ready for my 3rd- but it was better than I thought. I bet your 6 year old will be a big help and love being a helper. She could probably help a lot with the baby and you could handle the wild child :) It is hard going from 2-3, but with your oldest being so much older, it should be easier than you think. I would start training the little one now for when her baby sister comes. I guess she'll be turning 2 right when her baby sister is born.
I love the name Lauren. My cousin is Lauren Beth. Kristin is also a pretty "traditional" name- though not always consider to be.

Hi A.,
Congrats on your third one. If you do have her on 10/23, that is my birthday also. She will be a Scorpio or Libra depending on what astrological charts or who is writing the horoscope. I am a Scorpio through and through.

As for names, try and choose ones that go with your and your husband's nationalities. If you have any baby name books, you will find the origins and the nationalities listed usually. Although our daughter is not named that way, her name is Selana Andraya, with the A in the first name is a long A.
Our son is Stefan Alexander, which Stefan is German which my hubby and I both are, partially anyway.

Good luck

I think you need a Kate or Katie in there! My oldest is Kaitlyn, but we call her Katie. I think Catherine Marie is a traditional but beautiful name.

I also like Sarah, Evelyn, Margaret, Rebecca, and Elizabeth.

I am due a couple weeks ahead of you except we are having a boy. I had a girl name that I have loved for years but this baby will be our last one so I won't be able to use it....Violet James, I know James is not a traditional girl name but I think it sounds so good with Violet which is such a sweet name. Good luck with the third, I have no advice on that since this will only be our second.

I had 3 in 4 1/2 years. Three years between the first two and 21 months between 2 & 3. I didn't find the shocker to be #3, it was #2. Keep in mind #3 won't be running you ragged for a few months and Emily will be in school during the day. Will Samantha be going to any preschool? Try not to stress about it, new baby will feel it and be a screamer. No worries,it will be fine! It's not always easy, go with the flow and love on those sweeties, they are little for such a short time. I can't believe that I have 3 grandchildren. Names...my daughter has 2 very old fashioned names Elliana Reed and Aria Bess. The middle names are family names. Congrats on the coming event!

Your post made me smile. I have four and would have another but we can't so what did I do? We did foster care in VA and brought a foreign exchange student in this year, plus these last two weeks my friend's son has been here while she is in Tx.
Going from two to three is an adjustment. I will not say hard because it wasn't for me. My girls were already on the same schedule and my oldest was 12 by the time #4 came along. So the girls stayed on the schedule and baby did his thing for about a month. Then he had to fall into our schedule because we were always at dance or soccer or a band concert or whathaveyou.
Get a mommy's helper. MIne was the 16 year old across the street. She washed the baby, fed the girls, played with them watched the kids while I slept. PLayed cards with my 12 year old,.It was a blessing to have her.

I also have three - 4 months, 26 months, and 4.5yrs and ditto what Beth S. says below. What she wrote is also the way I feel, and my second child is my "wild child" too! What is up with the second one? :)
I love having 3 and going from 1-2 was much harder than having 3. ENJOY!! :)

I have 3 boys, ages 4, 2.5 and 9 months. And my second one is my "wild child" too :)
The third is by far the easiest! As long as you stay relaxed, and go with the flow of parenting 3, you'll all do great. I was worried for a long time about the transition from 2-3 b/c I had such a hard time from 1-2. But fear not, the third is the "take along" baby, and comes in already sharing x2. You'll also have years of parenting experience on your side, along with "ready for anything" attitude following your second daughter. Knowing this is your last baby will also help ~ you'll enjoy her that much more and be soaking in all of her, every moment!

Blessings to you, and enjoy those baby girls! :)

Hi A.,

I just had my 3rd child 5 months ago. My daughter is 6 and my son is 4. I found the transition to be very easy. My daughter is in school all day and my son goes to preschool 3 half days a week which gives me one on one time with the baby. They are both great helpers esp. when it comes to taking care of the baby.

Good Luck!

What about Abigail Grace? Pretty traditional....I was going to use it but my hubby vetoed and we went way less traditional with Emersyn Grace - love it! =) I have 3 and thought the third was a pretty easy transition, but my first two are twins. Not sure if that matters, but life has been busy since day 1! I love it and couldn't imagine life any other way, even including those very stressful days! I'm sure it's different for everyone and how we handle each situation. =) Best of luck and congrats!

Congrats on your 3 rd girl. I do not have 3 (yet),due on 10/27, but from what everyone told me going from 2-3 was ALOT easier than going from 1 to 2. I am going to trust that, since both of mine are boys= wild:)
I do not have any advice on traditional names unfortunatly, our boys are Israel and Emmanuel and if the u/s tech was right this will be Selah :)
Best wishes!!!!!!!!
