Can anyone recommend a place to get a 3D ultrasound in the NMB/Hallandale/Hollywood or nearby area? Has anyone had 3D experience they would like to share?

What can I do next?

There is a place in Aventura. Of course I can't find the advertisement I cut out of a magazine. Sorry, I guess that's really not much help either.

I did call them and it was a regular sonogram place. I was interested in how to go to school for it. Anyways. She said that there office was a regular sonogram place but had the training and such for the 3-D. Good luck.

I did the miracle imaging one in Plantation. They did a combo of 3D and 4D. I thought it was amazing and I think it is really looks just like my son. I didn't do it with my first child because I had quite a few level 2 and 3 ultrasounds. I had thought at the time that was the same. No way! I am not sorry I did it with my son.

There are two in S. Florida that I know of - one is in Coral Gables (www.4dprenatalimaging.com) and the other in Plantation (www.miracleimaging.com). The packages are less expensive at Coral Gables and they have Sat hours (if that is a concern for you). I just had my first child and my husband really wanted to do it. It was cool when we went, but looking back it was a bit of a waste. We spent $200 for 30 minute session and a cd and pictures to keep. While it was an interesting experience, the ultrasound looks nothing like what the baby will look like and once the baby is born and you see how precious and beautiful they are, you will never want to look back at the ultrasound pics... Just my thoughts. My daughter is only 12 weeks old and I have spent about $800 on pictures since she's been born and I honestly feel that the 3-D was a waste.

I saw one on Biscayne Blvd. near the Aventura Hospital...there is a little shopping center just before the Ives Dairy on ramp on the West side of the road.
