I want to have a combined birthday party for my boys, who will turn 3 and 5, around the beginning of October. Any ideas??

What can I do next?

My only suggestion is, that if they have separate friends, to send invitations with only one child's name on it. I heard this idea before and it sounded great. This way, guests (other than family members of course) don't feel obligated to buy both boys gifts.

How about Bowling? For sure the 5 year old is old enough to enjoy and I think even the 3 year old would have fun! They put bumpers up and even have something to help the littler ones bowl.

I just reread the prior post and agree that individual invites are a good idea to friends. Sorry for my confusion.

Bounce houses are great for this age. We had my 5yo's bday party at Pump it Up and my 3yo had a blast too.

my boys are also going to be 3 and 5 in Aug (though) they like to bowl, go to the bounce house, you could even have it at a park w/ a pavillion. You could do it at your house and rent a bounce house and cook hambugers and hot dogs.
