Have you tried your local Y, Mommy and me, Gymboree for programs? They also have a storytime activities at the library as well which are free. They are usually programs based on the childrens ages so there should be kids and parents there that are looking for the same type of interaction.
Hi! I go to the Bronx with my 15 month old with my hubby since he works there as he drives in from NJ and we take the subway to Manhattan. My hubby told me the library by his job is nice and I have to confirm story time but maybe we can meet up. I have a mommy group from a breastfeeding support group and I attend toddler yoga and hubby's friends who have moms who want to hang out. We always want to meet new people. Send me an email.
